LFW Winter Festive 2012: Vaishali S
Reverb was the collection that Vaishali Shadangule presented that wasn’t far from her signature style. The designer is known for using traditional weaves like chanderi, silk and brocade and presenting it on the runway in a more non-traditional style using layering and overlapping.
Being a long time fan of Vaishali’s work, I for one, loved some of the offerings.

Reminiscence of dresses made from mummy’s old sarees:-D
crumpled and unpolished – are the first words that come to mind. the color combinations are good but where is the finesse of a runway garment?? surely P&P you think this is nice??
I like the saree blouses in second set of pics, very versatile pieces.
The tassels on some of the outfits look oddly placed…wonder how that would translate off the runway!
now that’s creative use with chanderi. very wearable but yes the fabric does crush so wonder how this collection would translate off the ramp…
the crushed look is part of wearing Indian cotton. I like.
