In Sanjay Garg

At her Diwali party, Kiran stuck to her favorite designer, Sanjay Garg, wearing a cotton sari and matching blouse from his latest collection. Given that Chinese collar style neckline of the blouse, her temple necklace felt a bit awkward.

But then, this is Ms. Rao we are talking about and I rather take her fuss-free style over a look that feels over-styled.

P.S. Their family pic is inside.

  1. Lovely family photo.

However, this is one of those rare occasions on which I dislike Kiran’s styling. The white sari works better for a day event, and doesn’t go with the temple jewelry or the big red bindi.

  2. Dont understand her glasses! Such an odd pairing with the saree!
Kiran try a cat eye frame, trust me it will suit you. No need to wear something mismatched just for the heck of being different.

  3. Another one who goes out of her way to look quirky and comes across as comical.
Please stop trying. You are cute and can do so much better .

  4. I don’t get this outfit at all. The glasses, rolled sleeves, buttoned blouse, bindi, necklace and earrings make this look bizarre and definitely not fuss free!

  5. Dear Kiran, sloppy is not quirky, cute, fashionable. Your personal style should not be SLOPPY. Simple and clean draping is all it takes to get the saree right. And please fire the tailor, designer whoever stitched that “blouse”. They stitched a shirt for your husband with your blouse fabric.
