Kiran attended Akash and Shloka’s engagement party wearing a metallic NorBlack NorWhite skirt. The metallic skirt on its own wasn’t going to be an easy one to pull off, but I really loved how she wore it. In pairing it with the long kurta, the skirt was toned down and the yellow blazer provided a great pop of color contrast.

This engagement party really had the widest spectrum of outfits. From Aishwarya in a ball gown, Kat in a non-descript dress to this. This looks like an outfit for a lunch date.

Couldn’t agree more! I guess everyone got different memo for the dress code.
As for Kiran, the look is so out of sync! Why buy/wear such a fun skirt and cover it with a plain white kurta. That blazer and the color/length does absolutely nothing and makes the whole look dowdy. Don’t even get me started on the polka sandals.

I love Kiran but this is just…odd.
Not event appropriate. That being said the outfit might have been better if she skipped the blazer and added a statement necklace, different pair of sandals.

This is basically a kurta over a petticoat thrown quickly to grab a loaf of bread from a store down the road somewhere in middle India. Those sandals add to that vibe as well.

I like Kiran’s sense of style, the outfits she wears suit her. However, this dress is not appropriate for an engagement party, but if I was coming from another event, I would have at least changed my shoes.

There’s noir, and then there’s throwing a kakka coloured ill fitting jacket on top of a dowdy dress. This doesn’t fly. The glasses and the shoes – nothing.

I loved her dress. I don’t think people in bollywood dress for the occasion – Most ladies wear clothes dazzling enough to be worn by the bride. I like her dress – It is fun and chic and most importantly she looks like a guest.
Event inappropriate, but that apart, love her sense of style, especially here.
Didn’t like the shoes. She shouldn’t have worn this for an engagement party. Not event apropo IMHO

It is like – i want to wear that skirt at any cost & then u work backwards .. kurtaa??? to make it less gaudy & blazer??? to make it look formal !!!

The cherry on the top is the footwear!! I can understand not everyone wants to wear heels – but those sandals?? They look like the ones they give at Niagara Falls!!

Nun-like habit with those chappals to an engagement party. Just awful.
I would have preferred a scarf to a blazer. Or a Payal Khandwala kurta over the skirt. And yes the sandals have to go.
I just hope this doesn’t become a trend. Mid length skirts with equally long kurtas. Will be a terrible idea.
Btw thats a fun skirt- more suited for a Alia or a Shradha or even Araadhya :-D

That’s an odd combination of clothes she is wearing. I wish she had stopped at the kurta and not added the blazer. That mustard blazer is an eyesore and does not go with anything she is wearing. Just the skirt, a crisp white kurta and infinitely better shoes – that could have been a passable outfit.
Dangal alone made Rs. 8,000 crores I heard and this is what she dresses like? Deliberately looking poor and impoverished? I thought Aamir needed to be treated with his drama of playing a perfectionist, looks like she needs to be treated too

It’s an awful awful dress. There’s quirky, and there’s weird. This is the latter. She found the skirt too dazzling so threw on a kurta? Or what? Or had to go to a business meeting post party so added a jacket?
I spot another pair of polka dotted sandals next to kiran’s . Suspect its Karan johar’s. Mystery of polka dotted sandals gets curiouser!
I am obsessed with this look. She nailed everything. Plain kurta over a glitzy skirt….Genius! Colour of her blazer. Everything.
