Karisma opted for a sari again, this time wearing a Raw Mango sari and a long jacket, also from the label. I feel like kundan round studs would’ve worked better with the combo but she looked lovely nevertheless.

The jacket is giving out a very matronly vibe. The saree by itself is gorgeous. Agree with the comment on the earrings.
She looks lovely but something looks out of the place here, I can’t put my finger on it but something is off.

Ok I am from Shimla so please forgive me if I stereotype but this is a very “tourist aunties wearing a Sari in hill station” look. Please search for Dil Pukaare from Jewel Thief coz Vyjanthimala has the look down pat starting from about 1:20 in the song. Sorry just sharing first impressions.

Nope. Jacket does not belong; and is frankly hiding a gorgeous saree.
Jacket is ill-fitting and highlighting bulges on someone as fit as Karisma. So that would be a ‘no’ from me.

The color makes it look like a “trench coat”. The saree without this addition would’ve looked a lot better!

That jacket was unnecessary esp to a wedding.
An experiment that didn’t payoff. I think the jacket itself is to blame for it. A different jacket or cape may have produced the result she was looking for. Not the best by Karishma’s standard but even then better than most

School-teacher-in-charge-of-winter-picnic look. Ironically, the jacket is the first thing Northeners lose to show their wedding attires and baubles, and here she is, in a jacket in a March Bombay wedding. Perhaps she is supervising the wedding.?
Karisma looks so gorgeous !! The jacket makes for such a cool trendy look ! Including the earings its a wedding after all not just an event. Best dressed for sure. LOVE
Me thinks the jacket was not needed at all…its not adding anything to the look. She looks stuffed up. Just imagine the beautiful colour of the saree taking centre stage. Not one of her best!
I don’t mind the jacket, though it’s not adding much to the look. Your comment about studs is spot on. Studs would have elevated this look.

I notice most guests wearing a muted neutral outfit. Could it be a required dress code/theme? In which case she threw on the jacket just to fit in.
