Kareena On Harpers Bazaar India

Comment image 56

We saw a preview of Saif and Kareena’s shoot a few weeks ago already, but it is only Kareena who graces the cover of the first edition of Harpers Bazaar India in a floral strapless maxi.

Looking fresh and lovely, must say, and thankfully no raccoon eyes!

Update: Kareena is wearing a Giorgio Armani Spring 2009 dress. Thanks ‘Sona’ for the tip-off.

  1. “Photo shop fresh” I invented this phrase and mean to use it, Kareena looks photoshop fresh with baby pink poreless skin, damage free hair, no lines or wrinkles, fresh as breeze of spring

  2. v. pretty, thankfully the airbrush and photoshop are done professionally as opposed to Katrina’s recent cover(can’t remember which mag it was – yup it was that interesting!) where they photoshopped someone else’s jaw onto her face…

  3. Very refreshing!! She looks lovely, not overly made-up. Maybe photoshopped, but that’s the business now, and atleast this has been done extremely well.
Glad they didn’t use the “Bhoooot” picture of Saif-Kareena of them levitating in the air!!!

  4. shes so gorgeous and fresh here……she shd do her eye makeup like that in real life too coz that heavy eyeliner on the bottom just doesnt suit her one bit.

  5. Kareena looks good in the picture although you can tell it is photoshopped. Why are all these magazine covers so bland and boring?

The gown should have been a different color since it just blends with her skin tone.

  6. I love this cover. I love that there is no distracting writing that detracts from teh main focal point. it’s brilliant. kareena looks good too.

  7. LOL@all the photoshop compliments, agree. I also feel she is one of the few celebs who would still look beautiful with very less or no make up.

  8. Totally agree with ‘photoshop fresh’!

P&P can you please do a post on Freida’s appearance on Jay Leno y’day? She wore something resembliing a potato sack and dangerous heels.. Was totally surprised by AR’s appearance in the end. India has finally arrived!! :)

  9. I had a questions about the by-line “a love affair with india”. Exactly whose love-affair is meant by this? Are we still looking at India with eyes of a Westerner who finds everything oh-so-exotic?

  10. Congratulations and best wishes to Kareena Kapoor for gracing the cover of the first edition of Harpers Bazaar India. She looks refreshingly lovely and beautiful with a faint air of vulnerability which suits with the dress she adorns…

  11. I may be the only one here to feel that her face is looking *different” than her actual face!..I mean its little strange actually..and what is that peep hole doing in the middle..I dont see that in actually dress and its not making it any better on the cover!

  12. Honestly, I would have said that the girl in this cover looks absolutely beautiful (because she DOES) but this is NOT kareena. Come on, look at the face closely, look at all the photoshop that has been done to that face! Honestly, you simply can’t pick up a magazine these days, and say that you want to look like “them”, cuz “they” don’t even look like that! And any of us would have rocked that cover with the help of photoshop=)

  13. Honestly from the time Kareena went thru the size zero insanity her face has started resembling old woman. (and she isnt old at all).

LG, as me said it is ?photoshop fresh”.Every cover these days is.Look at Gauri Khan in Vogue cover(few issues ago), she has never looked like that in all her life. (atleast kareena could have looked like this at some point in her life with make up).

That said I dont think either of the kapoor sisters are beautiful and wouldnt have made if not for our fair skin obsesson and the kapoor tag. But kareena kapoor always dresses well.

Their face isnt anything great like say a madhuri(though kareena’s face seems to be changing quite a bit these days).

  14. good photoshop job 4a change. but kareena seems 2 have got face sculpting done….whr did all that baby fat from her face go? face fat is difficult to lose!

  15. The cleavage (the line thingie lol) looks really weird. And i think the “peep hole” has a patch of cloth in it, that justifies why the cleavage isnt seen through it. On the model, its the same printed cloth there, and on kareena’s i think, there’s a skin colored patch

  16. may i just say that i read in British vogue–if you think you’ve got too much eyeliner on; then perhaps you should add some more–lolllll soo much for racoon eyes

  17. she looks amazing – photoshop or not (and i mean EVERY cover is photoshopped – why pick on this one? just cause it’s a job well done?)

and it’s such a nice looking cover – simple and uncluttered

  18. I think Kareena looks gorgeous but the dress does to waste for this cover. The dress it self is very elegant & gets lost on the cover. I say another neutral pale color would of looked nice instead of this pale pink.

  19. @ jazz,

theres no patch covering the peep hole on the model’s dress. look closely…the woman’s skin colour is very similar to the colour of the gown.

as for the curious case of kareena’s cleavage, some photoshoppery trick.

kareena has definately done some face sculpting,
its almost impossible to lose that face fullness, however skinny u get….
