After wearing one dress from the Spring 2009 collection in Elle India (see here), Kareena does a full spread in Dior Spring 2009 dresses for OK India magazine.

  1. I am so tired of seeing Kareena Kapoor on every single magazine…and they’re not making her look any different! I would say this is one of her weakest photoshoots, she fails to evoke anything out of me…and WHAT THE HECK is up with her hair on that cover?

  2. I love love love Dior, but this photoshoot is very reminiscent of the one Ash did for Vouge
She does look great though and I am in LOVE with the first pic in the red (although, that may be because I’m in a Veronica Lake phase)

  3. WOW she looks stunning!!

My fav is the second cream dress middle picture, love the hair too. Its a belt strap dress again.

The legs crossed, hand on face, red dress picture reminds me of very old glamours hollywood style pic, even her hair style. she looks sophisticated.

  6. WOW! the dresses in this shoot are absolutely beautiful!! I like her different hair styles….

Does this girl ever smile with her teeth? Like in every picture, her mouth and expressions are EXACTLY the same!!

That’s what I hate about using actresses as models, half the time they just sit there looking pretty…they don’t know how to vary it up…With that being said, has there been a shortage of indian models or something? So sick of seeing the sammmmme ollllld faces

  7. She’s just so beautiful! She definetely is one of the rare woman who WEARS the dress/clothes instead of the other way around!

  9. I’m too distracted but all the pretty dresses ^_^. I especially love the first outfit (I prefer the way it’s worn by the model). It’s a cute outfit for going to dinner with your friends & it could also be worn while at the clubs. I want!!

  11. OKAY I want to know if this just me but can you ladies do the following:
    1. look closely at the second dress from the top. It’s white and she’s twirling.
    2. Now look at the middle picture of her.
    3. Now tell me, does she look a lot like meryl streep there?????

Hahaha sorry, that was the first thing I noticed when I was looking at these pictures, was just wondering if it apparent or if it’s just one of those ‘the way you look at it’ kind of things.

  12. She looks absolutely amazing, and the shoot is gorgeous, but for goodness sake, is Dior the only brand that Indian magazines like to shoot! It seems that practically every magazine has a deal with Dior to shoot starlets for their covers in Dior. Kalyani is doing a fab job, but we’d definitely like to see some variety!

  13. I like the covershoot and the first pink one.
Pri, she does look like Meryl Steep in a certain way.
Agree annie, and Priyanka as well.

  14. Can I just say that I was so enraptured with the model’s shot next to the cover that I forgot I was supposed to be looking at Kareena? She is working it!

    And now for Kareena.

*yawns* A cookie would be really good right now….

lol okay in seriousness: I actually think the second and third shots are pretty nice, but seeing Kareena everywhere distracts me from the clothes, which is kind of annoying. I would love to have her modified version of the yellow outfit though, absolutely!

  15. i love this girl….she has an old world glamour about her, which the middle pic in the red dress reinstates. She looks fab, a lovely girl, lovely pic

  16. She looks ethereal in the second pic where she’s wearing a champagne/cream colored gown – but then she looks the same in most of her photo shoots, the mag guys need to try something totally drastic with her, considering she has the verstality for it. And I do really like the shoes she is wearing with this gown – are those CD too??
And I love the rose colored dress too……..but she looks blah on the cover!!

  17. all the gowns are stunning.Dunno whether it’s the makeup or lighting but Kareena looks pale, tired and about 40+. I LOVE the last gown, it’s gorgeous!

  18. love the first one…that others are not firece at all…she is making the dresses look too regular instead of faboosh!

  19. Since the photoshott is supposed to be “ethereal” the look really works. Kareena really has evolved a certain old world charm – she looks quite stunning!

That said, yes, it would be great to see her in different avatars because she’s one of the few Indian actresses who can pull off edgy, unconventional stuff pretty effortlessly (except for that awful hip-hop/r&b look/feel she tried in that terrible song in the even more terrible “Tashan”).
