At a recently held press meet, Kareena was photographed in a Theia Couture dress. Cocktail rings and Christian Louboutin sandals were among her accessories of choice for the event.
The heavy-handed bronzer was definitely an issue but not as much as the choice of dress. The black slinky number with its train definitely stood out at the event, and not in a good way. The look was a bit much for the event in question; should’ve stuck to sharp separates or a classic cocktail dress.

Not entirely sure what’s going on with her. On one hand she isn’t “boring” like Ms Kaif; on the other however, there seems to be a desperation to prove a point about herself post baby. Whether it’s her endless gym looks, her saree at Sonams wedding and now this. Which is a pity because she is a beautiful woman.
The post baby comments need to rest now.. the baby is quite big, almost 2 years I think. She’s way different from Katrina, far more expressive if your comparing the sartorial tastes.
I’d say she is influenced by her bestie friend – Malaika Arora. Her outfit choices and styling started looking like Malaika’s, that scream desperation saying – ‘look at me, am sexy!’ where in reality its giving the opposite effect. She needs a better stylist!
I love that dress… love her. Hot styling. It’s a great New Year’s Eve look or date night.
She looks amazing but agree it’s OTT for the event. But then again maybe it’s her aim to standout !

Skimpy gown for a press meet( with hair extensions.. seriously!).. vulgar saree drape..bra peeping for a children’s event… God knows where all this is heading..sigh!

This reminds me of the dress she wore to Soha Ali Khan’s book launch. It’s very rare when an A-list celebrity misses the mark in terms of event-appropriateness, and this quite literally miles away from it.
Should have stuck to ‘sharp separates or a classic cocktail dress?’ Show us the last time she did it.
Almost all of her recent outfits have a Veere hangover written all about them. Not a fan.
