While at IIFA Rocks, Kanika was photographed in a vintage Alexander McQueen dress. With her hair in a bouffant ponytail, the songstress rounded out the look with diamond jewelry and sparkly Christian Louboutin heels. For the main event, she picked a sparkly Versace. Wearing her hair to the side, she finished out the look with multiple bangles/bracelets on one hand.

While she wears both dresses well, it was the appearance in McQueen that had my vote.

  1. Has she dyed bottom part of her hair blue? Delhi aunty trying to be too cool! Gold length is off , red fit colour is better but Gold is better gown

    • Oh yes, she has! I noticed it after seeing your comment. Look unimpressive. I hope these “funky coloured” hair are not a thing now. Saw on Tapsee last and now on her.

    • Oh..just noticed..she hails frm my city Lucknow. My heart literally ache wn I c her dress up in all chamko clothes with tacky hair. She oozes Delhi’s socialite vibes. Such a beautiful woman bt totally lacks class!

      • I agree, Himani. Chamko clothes – That is so true in her case. She is beautiful no doubts on that, but has no personal sense of style whatsoever. Sometimes I feel she just picks up just about any clothing as long as it is a blingy gown (for red carpets & all) or blingy traditional wear (if its some wedding event). The clothing piece must be event apt as long as its blingy.

  2. I remember “balloons” on seeing the first look. :P Balloony dress, bolloony hair. :P She looks good there nevertheless. I don’t like look 2. While her face looks pretty; The gown is a different story with a badly crafted sleeve.

  3. She looks glamarous in that red number. She looks good in the second one too. Good move to keep the accessories minimal on both counts.

  5. That red dress is just bad. Makes her look like she has no neck. And as someone said, the hairdo is awful. These looks seem so forced.
