Wearing a top from Madison with a Victoria Beckham pencil skirt, Kangana attended a recent event. Aside from Miu Miu shades, a wristwatch and pair of black pumps, both from Dior were her accessories of choice. Not much to fault here; Ms. Ranaut looked well put together.

She looks great but it feels like she has no idea of event appropriateness while dressing up. The high fashion gown at the National awards, the leather jacket look at a school function and now this. A big part of being well dressed is dressing as per the occasion and Kangana is failing miserably at that.
I was about to say the same thing. Sure she looks great, but I think this would’ve been a better outfit for that said school event… what a fiasco that was!
I don’t see anything inappropriate about this. Did you want her to dress as a traffic cone? The question of why an actor’s endorsement is needed for a road safety campaign, however…

I thought about event appropriateness at first glance, BUT on second thought it’s a formal event and she’s the chief guest, so I really don’t see how her outfit is not suited to the event. She looks great!

I believe that's her personal style statement. Many celebrities including Victoria Beckham herself chooses to dress more formal at any event.
Except for she wore flip flops for the screening of her movie!

I seem to remember Raveena Tandon did some over-dressing for a similar event. This is way better.
I think she has managed to keep it interesting while being sober and appropriately dressed. Just because it is a road function you need not dress like you are a rider or a driver or on a journey. I give this a big thumbs up!! She will surely manage to gather the press attention needed for the cause.
How is this inappropriate for the said event? Landing up in an ornate anarkali like some actresses would, would not be appropriate.
