Here we were about to post the Priyanka cover and lo and behold, the Jan cover makes an appearance with Kangana on it. We liked the fun vibe of the Priyanka cover and shoot but are absolutely loving the close-up of Kangana, especially the fascinator (something we don’t see much of).

I like Priyanka’s cover – also the shoot is fun and quirky. Also loving Kangana’s cover. Would have loved it more if it were completely black and white, it would have suited the noir mood of the cover.

oh please, all of this condesencion is really starting to annoy me…why exactly is it that everyone on here has to act superior and classify every second shoot/ designer and celeb as wannabe? What do you even mean? I mean HOW is this wannabe? What is it trying to be?

LOVE both. i dont wanna say this, but priyanka has the same smiley face in all snaps( including cover ), except the last one. for an ex-model, she delivers very little. love her clothes, shoes and accessories though.
PC is such a wannabe forever stuck in her average party goer avatar :P pun unintended lol …. she looks wierd …. she has bags under her eyes she has a reputation of being a party animal so either that or she is nurseing a heart break …lol either ways priyanka will always look either like anaverage party goer/ item girl chamiya …. kangna has that elf like charm to her … more pristine also she looks vulnerable and fragile …. as compared to priyankas fake smile fake everything … gawd such a wannabe .
Absolutely LOVE Priyanka’s shoot….all fashion shoots go for that ‘fierce look’ so this was a refreshing change (she is actually smiling)
Havin said that LOVE Kangana’s shoot too (esspecially the head piece and expression).
Both covers are fabulous in their own way.
god! priyanka’s shoot is amazing. fun and vibrant. “fashion is fun” seems to be the idea.
strictly model talk – her poses are slightly repetitive… i blame that on the selection of the shots rather than priyanka herself.
she has stuck to the short dresses routine though.
kangana rocks tha fascinator.
on its own the fascinator is pretty bland. infact it looks like something the girls put together at home from stuff bought at lincraft..right before they head off for the races!
kangana could have easily carried off a more risky/trendy design.
all in all… a great way to end the year with 2 amazing covers to discuss on HHC.

Kangana looks like a young widow at her rich husband’s funeral! Priyanka’s cover is so vibrant and merry. Who in their right minds would want to start a brand new year with a cover like the january one feauturing kangana?!!! So depressing nah?

Kangana is just amazing. The only indian actress who is unrecognizable from time to time as she totally transforms herself.
My vote goes to Kangana – even in the movie, Fashion, I thought she stole the thunder from Priyanka.
Sorry to be gushing, but look at Kangana’s hair???? Fab, so natural, I am so sick of potrayals by Indians of hairstyles that simply are unachievable for 85% of us ordinary brown gals.
Priyanka’s hair and makeup has never looked better.. Love her cover.. kangana’s is too contrived compared to priyanka’s fun one..
Their both great, but my personal tastes lead me to Kangana’s

It’s nice to see Priyanka attempting something different than glassy brooding stares in a photo shoot… As for the clothes: bleh.
i like PC in the louis vuitton dress, something off in the other photos, could be the horrible platform zipper boots.
Kangana reminds me a lot of the elizebethan theatre!!!I think she luks fab!!!As for PC…well she luks cute and cool bt there sure is sm kind of monotony!!!

I don’t like Priyanka’s cover or photoshoot much. It’s quirky and fun but she always comes across as bland to me. I really don’t know why.

Priyanka’s Verve is good too, but am just so over the Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 collection. I didnt think it was great to begin with, but the over-exposure just gets to me. :|
Yes, why is LV always SO over-featured in Indian magazines? Do they give the desi media truckloads of free goodies for shoots or something?

Priyanka looks good, but the toothy smile in every picture is a bit forced, and I think she’s been an actress so long that she’s forgotten how to model. Most of the shots are nyeh, and lacking in energy. Kangana is arresting as always.
Both covers are exquisite.
But Priyanka’s shoot seems a little silly. The clothes look amazing but I don’t like the poses they made her do.
