  1. FAB FAB FAB FAB
    LOVE IT!
love the shoes, love the dress, the hair works, makeup…doesn’t hide her oily skin but…she still works it
take note Bollywood, when you wear a statement making dress like this, KEEP EVERYTHING ELSE SIMPLE

  2. My little brother (not that ‘little’ — 24?) just walked in the room, saw me reading this, and said ”she’s hot, i’d hit that.” *imagine mortified me*

*Shrugs* I guess she does look nice. I still find her annoying and over-rated though lol.

  3. wow!this dress looks like it was made of confetti.
kangna carried it off well though….maybe because of her reed thin body.on a fuller person, it wud be a disaster.

  4. how does she qualify as reed thin??? i can see nice arms & legs, and not one part with bones are showing thru…

im very petite & small-framed myself (sort of amrita rao-sized, and genetically so) and it’s annoying no end when people just assume we starve to keep ourselves so, and insist on calling us ‘skinny’. der are small sizes & large sizes – skinny/reed thin would be when u seriously look like ur starving & havent eaten in a week

  5. this is borderline haute couture, with potential to totally go the other way though. She works it well- she is young enough to be irreverent, keeps the rest of the look simple, great shoes. Don’t agree with the comments that she is reed thin…she is just fine. thank god we can’t hear her talk on this website…that would ruin the whole thing!

  6. @ sudha,
i didnt mean offend petite people..i am quite small myself (a UK size 8).
in no way did i intend to imply that kangna ranaut is anorexic. however, if u compare her to people like bipasha or chitrangada….she is very tiny…may that be for genetic reasons or otherwise. in some ofher revealing pics….one can see that theres hardly any curves on her body.
i am all for being polite, but if the political correctness reaches such level that calling anyone thin/fat, dark/fair, tall/short, intelligent/stupid or any other adjective at all becomes an offence issue…then maybe we should all relax a little.

  8. she’s a great poser too…which so many in bollywood are not

also i think 90% of bollywood would have turned this into a WTHeyyy

kangana on the other hand looks interesting…and has a gorgeous smile to boot

  9. i have no complaints……(isn’t that a first).

    well said, debs.

ritu, i don’t think different color shoes would’ve looked better. in fact, i think they would’ve made this outfit more of a wthhey. she’s got it just right.

  11. FAB totally. She looks SO pretty when she smiles! In most of her movies she has that really fierce look and doesn’t smile much. She should do some light-hearted comedy or something.

  12. I love Kangana. She looks great here. Kept it simple in all other ways. Not a fan of this dress but she brings her own spirit into it and makes it work. She is beautiful and I really like her thinking. She is very low-key and modest yet daring in her attitude. Perfect.

  13. love it! totally makes up for some of her recent appearances. the only thing i would changed is that her ponytail be swept to the other side – so that she could have shown off the full strap on the other shoulder.

sudha – seems like you get a lot of comments on your petite size. thus, skinny has a negative connotation to you. but i think to most people, skinny has a neutral, or even positive , connotation – as in, “you’re skinny enough to pull off anything.” at least, that is how i read debs’ comment. and anyway, who cares what other people think/say – so long as you’re healthy, i would give no heed to comments.
