At the poster launch of Manikarnika – Queen of Jhansi in Varanasi, Kangana was seen wearing a Sabyasachi sari from the designer’s Udaipur Couture collection.
As you can see, her look was kept exactly the same as the model right down to the layered jewelled necklaces and tiny bindi.
Did she look good? Yes.
Would we have like a bit of variation though? Absolutely!

Have been waiting for these pics. Her face looks different. Can’t pin point. Is it the center parting or the makeup ? Looks like she also performed evening Aarti. Blouse could have been a little conservative ? Nonetheless she looks gorgeous.

It’s a pretty saree but somehow i feel that it hasn’t done justice to her. She looks pale and washed out.

Would’ve preffered if she skipped the choker necklace and worn stud earrings. I dislike the no earring look, feels so incomplete to me. Love the sari and the long necklace, so gorgeous!
I don’t like the choker at all. I agree with a previous poster on skipping that and wearing stud earrings. On an aside, poster launch in Varanasi with a dip in the holy waters? The things actors do for promotion these days-sigh.

Nice sari…Bt the middle parting ages her and seems to make her hair look less voluminous.. a looser hair-do and this look wud be perfect
The hair could have had a little more volume – it looks quite severe. She looks lovely nonetheless.
Wow! I really am bowled over by this look. She always looks extremely sharp in a saree. A sight of powerful elegance! The look is so balanced considering the sparkling saree & blouse.. the jewellery is nice & is not overdone. Best thing about the look is that she has copied the model yet both – Kangana & the model look very different & sharp in their own ways! Makeup is fab.

Who cares if it is same as the model, the important thing is look good. And boy does she look gorgeous!
