Wearing a Gaurav Gupta strapless gown, Kangana attended the Vogue Beauty Awards on Tuesday evening. I may be in the minority but while I love Kangana for some of her fierce looks, the entire look here felt very disconnected.
That gown, that hairdo, and the diamond jewellery did not belong together. Just me feeling that way?

I saw somewhere that Anaita Shroff styled Kangana for this event. This is exactly how Shaleena Nathani styled Deepika for Filmfare fashion awards, which did not turn out well. Can’t believe this lack or originality! Kangana should stick to Ami Patel.
@Neena: Weirdly enough Diya Mirza’s red gown with slick/wet hair look at this Vogue event is also exactly the same styling. Why such repetitive styling?

Neck up it is a grunge look. Neck down is all princessy. Loving both parts separately. Agree with Payal on this one. The whole look is disconnected. Sigh! It’s one of those times Kangana misses it totally!

Edgier accessories could have pulled the look together. Delicate diamonds were def not the way to go.
agree. it is the diamonds that strike a false note here. some conceptual jewellery would have worked very well.
Usually only her “fierce” posing /pouts were silly. Not the entire look. Lol.

that necklace and gown needed her short naturally wavy hair and light subtle lip – that would have been a home run! such a waste opportunity
and maybe she should stop this ‘angry daku rani’ look on the red carpet …everyones bored of it

imagine Kangana wearing this dress with her hair falling in soft whispery waves around her shoulders, a pair of diamond solitaires on her ears, single solitaire on a thin short chain around her neck and with the softest nude lips… that would have been a faboulous look… alas
Feel like bats and vampire younglings will take flight from her decolletege anytime !
The dark lip ages her so much, she seems like headed to a Halloween party
