After her red carpet appearance on Thursday, Kangana changed into a red Nanushka leather dress paired with Neous pvc pumps that we saw on her first while she travelling to Cannes. Friday saw her in a leather bralet, olive pants and beige jacket, all from Trussardi. Before she headed out to the her second red carpet appearance, she seemed to have indulged in some shopping and did so wearing an Elisabetta Franchetti dress.

I loved her in the red. But, then I love myself a good black, white and red combo. The Trussardi look for a stroll on the streets was quite a risque move and frankly, I don’t know if it worked. Why wear the bralet and then wear that boring jacket?

The blue frock was so fun and I loved the Tod’s mini bag with it. But, yet again, her bodyguard carrying her Birkin just showed us how impractical the micro bag was for her here.

  1. Jacket is a bit boring but it helps tone down and balance the risque factor.

The best thing about her is the change of attitude with each outfit. For blue one she has a sunny smile whereas for red one boss lady -no nonsense look

  2. Bringing in a different stylist makes so much of a difference. It adds to a different view point and such fresh takes. So far the most over done look was…well…obviously….sabya saree.
Look at her here. Owning it and how! Love!

  3. Haha when has practicality ever aligned with fashion.
She is a true fashionista albiet one that has taken a few pointers from PC’s stylists recently displayed looks (micro-bag, “micro”-shades(?))
She looks the part of the movie star without being overly desi, or dramatic princess in ball gowns

    • ‘Blade’ inspired micro-shades seem to be the in thing this season. Kylie Jenner was also sporting similar ones at the Met Gala

  4. Kangana Ranaut has done a fantastic job with styling her looks and regardless of what she wears, she OWNS the look. I can’t see anyone except Sonam perhaps working the Trussardi look this effortlessly. She’s raising the bar for everyone else and that too without a stylist!! (Even Sonam collaborates with her sister on her Cannes looks)

  6. She is on a roll! Rocking everything she wears with rockstar attitude!
Btw on a different note… u covered all the kapoor men – from papa to the bacchas.

Why did u leave Manish Malhotra at cannes out?
He literally sells his brand for insta friendly space. First it was sanitary ware… now Ice cream at cannes? Hilarious!

  7. OMG ..Kangana in the Elisabetta Franchetti blue dress with those sunnies and yellow micro-bag is so vibrant and gorgeous!! I love this version of Kangana the most but absolutely admire that she has just delivered 3 different looks and attitude to boot. I love her collab with Ami Patel and its great to see her kick it up a notch for the Cannes appearance with Lorna McGee. Very cosmopolitan looks and mixing things up too – vintage, modern, fierce, fun & flirty. Smashing!

  9. She is such a style chameleon! I am not a huge fan of the outfit with the bralet and jacket but how sizzling does she look in the red dress and cute in the blue one. She hasn’t repeated a hair style or make up yet and comes up with such original looks! Looking forward to your posting her red carpet 70s inpsired jumpsuit look!

  10. She looks like a female version of don. Can almost imagine her puffing a cigar in the Trussardi one while barking orders and completely in action in the red leather dress with her entourage in tow. Tod’s one evokes instant love because of the dress colour and her extremely enamouring smile!

Like anticipated, she has literally brought drama!!!

  11. Cause she didn’t wear the bra let to show it off… no need to add the blue n red looks are good., those pants are great.. didn’t need white shoes there or the berry lip.

  12. I mean what is your problem. If she lookes good in red your concern is only that. You dont have to tell that if you like black or not. Okkkkkk. Again what u did… You said that yellow bag…. Yellow bag is in her hand that it.. You just comment on that. Shes looks good thats it.. Now if she is carrying another black bag with her bodyguard that is not your concern… Okkkk

  13. Kangana is such a huge surprise each and every time she appear on such event! Loved her look, especially the blue dress, so youthful ! Trussardi look is good too, the way she played around it, downplaying the bralet with jacket… Love Love :)
