Striped!

Given that we don’t have the best images, but a quick look at the two and we aren’t impressed by either one’s stripes. You like any?

  1. face up, both women looks really pretty – they have such amazing skin. i dont like Tulip’s dress – it’s too large a print and people get lost inside large stripes. KR’s dress is marginally better and i like it till the waist. waist-down, i’d have loved it if it were an above-knee length dress with lots of twirl!

  2. Kangana looks extremly trashy, as if the lenght doesn’t add enough to the trashieness the neckline makes it OTT trashy and the print doesn’t help either it adds another round to it!

  3. to be honet, I like both.
I am a sucker for black and white.
Both of them are carrying the short dresses with elan.KR’s blush is a bit too loud but Tulip seems comfortable and very pretty.

  4. I think kangana’s dress works because of the direction the stripes are flowing in – they reinforce the curves at the right places, and make her top half look streamlined. So the stripes guide the eye in the direction you want.

As opposed to Tulips, because those stripes are all over the place….

  5. i like them, looks something different rather than the usual horizontal and vertical .. etc and moreover they both look good… Kangana looks slightly trampy.. but she is carrying it well, and Tulip’s dress although has some big stripes .. suits her and she looks good!!!!

  6. not fun of short dresses, I think you should wear dresses the way that people don’t mistake them for bathing suit or swim suits, it just is not classy

  7. kangana’s dress – hmm.. all i can think of is how could she move around, bend, twist or sit in that dress without feeling uncomfortable.. perhaps she didnt have to do any of those at that event..

I can forgive the dress, because she pulled her hair back in a ponytail which makes the whole thing look less trashy. But if she wore high heels, then I am takin gthat back..:-)

  8. Jeez..what happened to the modest but sensual Indian actress? I hate how these no-name girls are just pushing the slutty-factor to the umpteenth degree; and all in a pursuit to fit the western definition of “sexy” which we all know is basically “trashy.” I am one girl who prides herself on being sexy without having to show skin or wear the shortest hemline — with that being said, I hate both dresses and black/white prints are just plain boring!
