Sari Style

Wearing a printed chiffon sari with her Miu Miu necklace, Kangana picked up her Indian of the Year Awards on Thursday evening. I had no complaints about this look. She looked lovely!

or of Vidya Sinha’s looks. Very few would know her, but she’s the poster child for chiffon sarees to me for some reason :D she just wore them so gracefully..
Just google “vidya sinha choti si baat” to see why..

  1. I like how kangana is in a league of her own. She isn’t copying sonam or other actors & has her own style. Love this look. I would wear it in a heartbeat

  2. She looks stunning. Actually I’ve seen pictures on other sites of the necklace in the back, which really makes the look. I hope you can update the post with the look from the back. I love the saree and necklace combo!

  3. Kangana slays everytime and how!!! What a feminine, delicate, lovely look. She looks like a dream from each angle. Styled brilliantly! Beautiful chiffon saree, gorgeous piece of jewellery, sculpted updo and that infectious smile. <3

P.S. Hearty Congrats to her! Indian of the Year Award…. Woohooo!!!! More power to you, Kangana! Keep slaying.

  4. love it. its so vintage n modern at the same time. im glad she can tone it down and let the statement necklace be the centre of attention. and strangely enough i like that her eyebags are not hidden under layers of makeup-makes her look real

    • Kangana looks lovely in that old pic! Very real..No Forced Fierceness Or Overly Feminine Fake smiles.
I feel the opposite of you.. think she has gotten way worse since then!

      • Completely agree. Now it all looks so frickin’ made up & fake also so silly. But I guess things start getting into ones head after success especially in a field like this.

      • Ummm you can say I am a bit biased as I certainly have a soft spot for her, all her controversies and contrived looks notwithstanding. She has been a wild card for most of her career span. Even though, seems a bit high-headed at times but keeps her sense of humour intact, which can’t be said for most of the prim, born-with-a-silver-spoon b’wood ladies. I also blame her association with Ami Patel, she is not the stylist suited for her. Most of the times she is dressed against her personality, and I feel Kangana makes it up with her overt posing and so-called “fake smiles”, so that you still remember Kangana, the star :P. I know, I know I am over-selling her but how many other stars have you seen pull off such an under-stated but classic printed chiffon saree look, without any gimmick??

“wild card for most of her career span”. You said it there. Why I like her is because if you actually think of it, she is worthy of all that she has got. She has worked hard and it shows. Yeah I agree she gets fierce in posing & all.. but then that is just there. Since you said “she keeps her sense of humour intact”, I am assuming you have watched her interviews? I have (a lot of them!) and oh she is a treat to listen to man. NOT because of her work or anything but for WHO she is. Extremely jovial & cheerful! It may sound weird but her and Deepika’s laughter is very pleasing to the ears. :D

  5. I suddenly remember Garden Vareli seeing her! Flowy beautiful chiffon saree, nice hairdo and the gorgeous necklace, stunning she looks! After that national awards night this is the look which I like on her simply because she looks understated yet gorgeous with a hint of glamour added with that necklace and that hairdo. And that she is smiling heartily! Fabulous!
