Earlier this month, while at an event in the capital, Kalyani was photographed wearing an Alexander McQueen dress. A Dior bag and Givenchy ankle-strap sandals finished out her look. She wears the dress well.

OMG! Kalyani in something other than Dior? Lol, just kidding. But she looks nice and red looks great on her. But would it hurt these designers to make something a regular person can wear, someone who doesn’t necessarily have the fittest body?
That crisscross mess in the middle- not working for me. She looks stunning though. Always gets her make-up right.
Ugly bag. The length of the dress on her frame makes her legs stumpy. Her makeup and shoes are good.
I totally agree. I also think ankle straps on the shoes (which are otherwise nice) cut her off at the ankles making her legs look even more stumpy.
The cris cross on the dress makes me want to “jump jump” away (couldn’t help referring to the 90s American hip hop kids kriss kross and their song :)).

Her make up looks good here, compared to her recent appearances. Something about her face has changed. The colour suits her well and love the bag and the shoes.
I have a McQueen in my closet. Looked great on the mannequin. Bought it. Can’t wear it – don’t know how to – seriously. So many criss-crosses, for the life of me, I cannot figure out which goes where…
I’ve never understood what the big deal about this women’s sense of style is. Its quite run -of-the-mill-socialite if you ask me.
Agree about the criss cross mess and bag. Here is a perfect example how unnecessary fabric can ruin an otherwise ok outfit. Live and learn.

I have no idea why you girls are so partial towards her. No matter how okay or average the look is,it looks like you try so hard to make it sound good. Agree she is beautiful but this look on anyone else, I’m sure you would have been all picky about the fit and footwear and the criss cross confused design.
Even I feel the same. They never find any fault in her even if she is dressed below average or has the same hair style. But they can find faults for perfect women like Dia Mirza or Karishma Kapoor who always look stunning, classy, elegant and are impeccably well dressed. May be they want to be in good books with Kalyani (mutual benefits).
Amen to that! Dia and Karishma, two beautiful women who stand as the epitome of grace, elegance in the sea of wannabes and try-hards. But then you can’t blame P&P they have to run a blog and it is not an easy thing to do. I guess you have to be in most people’s good books. :D

Agree. Normal girls and women I meet at regular parties dress better than her. Of course we all may not be able to afford to buy such expensive brands like them, but they don’t have taste with all the money at their disposal. Even Pernia Qureshi is also one socialite who P&P wants to be in good books with and she dresses ghastly and comes out looking cheap.

And I absolutely love a bit of kitsch but that is one UGLY UGLY bag. Like something out of a Project Runway unconventional challenge? Or something that was made in my son’s preschool
