Wearing Sailex, Kalki attended a press meet announcing the search for the next Fashion Icon. The sheer pink dres looked great on the runway but didn’t quite translate so well off it. The satin underlay wasn’t very flash friendly and, not helping its cause was the way the look was styled. The hair was too messy and the sandals too clunky.
She finished out her look with House Of Chic earrings that were a variation of the ones that we’d recently seen on Kajal and Kajol in real life and Katrina in the Dhoom 3 song.

the dress looks nice on the model – the hairstyle, dress length, sandals, accessories and all these r wrong on Kalki.
Usually, Kalki manages to get away even with the worst but this one just didn’t work.

If this dress was knee-length with the satin lining it would have made a huge difference. Lovely pink though.

Why line such a delicate lace with sateen is beyond me. It´s shine is always tacky, unflattering & never photographs well.
kalki is finding her sexy, so baby steps. She ´ll rock the RC soon, i am sure.
would love to see this on someone like Nina Manuel…her gleaming bronzed skin would set off the peach and elevate a slightly over cutesy dress. Kalki hasn’t provided enough visual contrast, and the styling is rather unfinished.
All kinds of wrong, this outfit. From colour to length to lining to hair. Sorry!
