Chances are, either you are going to love this cover or hate it. I for one, love Kalki (in Shivan & Narresh) on Femina’s Graphic Issue.

I cant help but feel that this will condone the idea of an ideal body being excessively skinny (which I believe is rising in India- I don’t live there but my cousins tell me so).

of course twiggy inspired, she looks great, she makes the cover work. i had written on Kalki’s page on this site once about how i wanted to see her in some vintage photoshoot. Here’s a part of how it.

Love the cover, Kalki looks fab.
But somehow feel Femina covers show a lack of consistency and are frequently at odds with the magazine’s ethos. Maybe because one thinks of it as an older woman’s magazine.
