Wearing a red and gold sari from Sabyasachi and jewellery from Anmol, Kajol attended Kussh Sinha’s wedding reception. Since she didn’t quite post for the photogs and her other pics are a bit hazy, it was hard for us to really get a good read on this look.
The updo and red lips did look great but am not a fan of the sheer sari. At least, going by the pics we have.

All I notice is the school principal hair. The sari is whatever. Typical wedding fashion that blends in with everyone else.
Could have salvaged the look if she’d opted for earrings instead of the kada she’s wearing..looks too bland on her
The sari is something I would not wear to someone’s wedding – unless it was a gift I had to use off.
Is there seriously no jewelry except a bangle? Cmon! The sari may be “heavy” but nothing at all makes it look so bare, especially with the severe hair.

I love the whole look. Wish Kajol had worn small ornate earrings it would have taken attention away from the severity of her hairstyle.
Somehow, this is a very dated look. I’d have preferred Kajol wearing Jhumka’s with the saree. The no earring look works sometimes like in the case of Sonakshi wearing a pink saree at Arpita’s wedding but in this case it looks like an unfinished look.
