It was a Prabal Gurung sheath for Kajol at the recent event. And what could’ve been a winner, sadly ended up being a look that was ‘not quite‘.
The slouchy, oversized Louis Vuitton hobo was a complete downer and overtook rest of the look. A sharp, structured tote would’ve gone a long, long way. Also bit of a downer, those off-shoulder black bows that do absolutely nothing for her! Pity, with those two gone, the look would’ve been perfect on Kajol!

Those sleeves/ or apology of a sleeve/bow are a big joke.
A friend said it looked like her bra straps had been pulled down her arms. If only she had ditched those ridiculous black bows she would have looked quite nice!
Kajol should stick to long sleeves and long skirts/ pants. This look is extremely unflattering.
I agree! I have the same body type (and face shape too!) and refuse to appear stuck in these tight fitting dresses….she’s a boho chic kind of girl…just doesn’t know it yet!
Right. Long sleeves and loose pants/skirts. How about tent dresses and voluminous anarkalis while we are at it? And maybe loose maxi dresses with full sleeves? And then we will all call her a behenji and be done with it? Only those with perfect bodies ought to wear sleeveless/short dresses.
On topic, the dress looks good on her, if you ignore the sleeves. And since I am addicted to huge slouchy bags, filling it with random crap I won’t ever need and lugging it around everywhere I go, I shall not cast the stone :)
A sleek black envelope clutch would have looked far better than the slouchy bag. And of course the bows are adding to the agony!
Can I just say that the make-up and hair is amazing. Shame about the dress though. The shoes look painful too.
Those black bows are awful, they turn this otherwise nice look into a caricature!

I’m not sure who would look good in those “bow sleeves”.
It’s a sad sight to see her try this hard. Ha! Sleeveless and that kind of dress length is not for her body type leave alone the bow.
This dress does nothing for her frame—particularly her shoulders and arms. Sigh. Why. There are dresses that would totally suit her fame and look classy and elegant and relaxed all that she’s aiming for in this look.
The dress would have probably suited better on a slender body..It makes Kajol look bigger..and the bag is definitely aint helping!
Gorgeous color on her. However dress is ill fitting and she should’ve taken a pair of scissors to the useless arm strappy things. Actress is pretty but dress is a fail.
