In Nupur Kanoi
Thursday promotions for Helicopter Eela saw leading lady Kajol in a bandhani draped dress by Nupur Kanoi. Wish she’d worn thin strapped ankle-strap sandals versus those chunky platform ones.
Even with its neutral color, the sandals drew too much attention.

She could stop dressing comical and go back to wear what she likes and suits her.. great actors don’t need silly dressing.
Wedges are so comfortable to wear and walk! Why set such unnatural standards for people instead of normalizing platforms or suggesting more comfortable footwear?
I know you all hate chunky shoes, it has been a regular complaint on this blog. But instead of recommending thin strap sandals, as a fashion favor, please do recommend some comfortable, healthy and appropriate shoes!
I agree wedges are very comfortable but the pairing didn’t work here because of the thick straps. If she’d worn them with denims or pants, it wouldn’t be as distracting.
This is not bandhani. It is called leheria print
bandhini or leheriya? or is it the same thing?
They are both tie and dye. Bandhani creates small squares/circles whereas a leheriya is tied in such a way, you get a continuous line. In her case, the bandhini pattern has been done in such a way as to create lines.
Those wedges are particularly awful. Surely she can wear some block heels if she wants the extra height. Why do the stars pay stylists to come up with stupid outfits?
There is a video of Kajol falling down when wearing thinner straps/heels. Can you just not.
Can’t look past the whitewashing
