In London, Kajol was spotted wearing a blue and purple Manish Malhotra sari that she paired with a black blouse with sheer sleeves. After seeing so many of Mr. Malhotra’s ornate saris, this simple one is so refreshing. Love!

this is actually one of the rare MM creations I like (the saree) but the blouse sleeves are so yucky and take away from the whole look..i don’t like these sheer sleeves AT all..and they don’t really do Kajol any justice…
Sheer sleeves don’t do anyone any justice. That sari is quite nice. I agree that the blouse takes away from this sari.
The sari’s great, except for the sleeves. Don’t like this random mixing of sheer sleeves that seems to be in these days…

That’s probably just a fabric fold. And ya the saree is nice, blouse not so much, but that smile on her face makes everything alright.

Seems like folds of (sheer) fabric. In the first pic you can see more of them along the length of the sleeve.

Those aren’t innerwear straps.Thats where the sheer material kind of gets crinkly.
That’s not inner wear, it’s just a fold in the fabic on the sleeve.

kajol looks lovely after a few bad appearances, seriously manish should put more care into dressing kajol for the MNIK promotion, like he has done here.

That looks like a crepe saree…guess MM cudnt give her the usual net transparent saree.. her sheer black blouse matches the border of her saree. sarees suit her well and she looks elegant here :)

Kajol has made a sensible decision. The only times I personally find her attractive is when she dons a sari. Thank goodness she’s not sporting another unflattering anarkali/peshwaz. People might have issues with the sheer sleeves but considering how she is not exactly one of the more toned heroines in tinsle town, it is the sensible thing to do. I just wish she wore a bindi to complete the look.
Hmm don’t think the saree is that lust worthy…add to that the garish looking blouse!! What on earth was she thinking?! Anyways, I’ve never seen Kajol dress properly…this lady just doesn’t know any sense of style!! Her cousin Rani can give her some tips on that….:p

I totally want to see Kajol is a Harve Legere or something sexy. With all the gals in Bollywood shedding weight and doing “Hollywood” outfits, its Kajol who remains unchanged and unaffected.
I bet she would look great in a great dress and some strappy sandals.
Love her in whatever she wears, cuz when I look at Kajol, my vision is already biased with the love and adoration I feel for her.
I think it is def better than her previous choices but to me the ombre effect on that sari looks cheap and the tassle wasn’t needed. I am not sure if I like that shade of blue in a sari. The sheer on the blouse should have been done better or left out completely. Her face and hair is well done and the smile works too.
The colors are lovely, and her smile is radiant, but that saree itself is sooo meh! Or are we just comparing it to the rest of MMs creations?
oh i so miss the kajol of the 90’S . i personally think anarkalis n sarees age kajol. they make her look older than she actually is. i would love to see her in dresses and casual trendy stuff ( even high street would do) i think she can pull it off. she pulled it off in the 90’s in movies like baazigar . i am pretty sure she can do that now aswell besides she has all the help at her disposal … karan,manish … who else do you need? also what i dont understand is in the movie she is wearing dresses and trendy casual stuff and looks quite fab but why does she insist on looking like an old tacky indian aunty while promoting the film this is one film where” in-character” appearances / film promotions would’ve added so much spunk to the style quotient alas it was not meant to happen. also the black sheer wouldve worked so much better as a dress on her than a blouse. what were they (karan,manish) thinking ?
P S i love the saree but not the blouse n they both look awful on her n whats with the hair?
Yaar be happy that this girl at least puts make up and does her hair and wears decent clothes! The way she was in the 90s she would be wearing maxis and chappals with her natural crimped hair, unibrows and everything! So yeah asking her to wear dresses- trendy clothes- is a LOT to ask from her! LOL! Just wish she wears decent sarees, kameez and shoes! LOL!
