Jaya accompanied Sr. Bachchan to The Great Gatsby Premiere in New York on Wed night wearing a pale pink Nachiket Barve sari with a matching Barve clutch. She sure looked elegant but that shawl really overshadowed the sari.

I’m not feeling this look. The shawl’s print belongs on a victorian drape or cushion cover. The saree is meh. If she wanted to go with a pastel shade, I really wish she had worn this instead:
