In Stéphane Rolland Couture
Jacqueline attended the Filmfare Glamour And Style Awards wearing a strapless gown by Stéphane Rolland, a designer known for his sculptural gowns. I guess, Ms Fernandez wanted to let the gown be the highlight of the look and hence chose to go for a simple hairdo and pairing it with a pink Leiber mianudiere and Nirav Modi jewels.
Question is, was that enough? Frankly, I didn’t think so. I felt like, in this case, keeping it simple didn’t work in favor of the gown. I would’ve loved if she’d given us some serious drama with an edgy hairdo as well. More naughty than nice.
What say you?

That dress looks like a white sting ray…ugly…this girl likes wearing ugly clothes
Now with wings.! But yea she looks nice especially without the cringe posing
A designers job is to style the model in favor of the gown. A stylists job on the other hand, is to style the wearer, in favor of the wearer. The gown/outfit has to favor the wearer, not the other way around. The outfit has to transform the wearer. Fashion basics 101.
She looks nice.
I think she looks great. The toned down hair and makeup compliments the gown.
And she bought two seats for the show. One for her and one for her wings.
Good to see her in a normal pose!!! Gown has enuf drama, so styling works. The clutch tho seems like a loofah ;)
I completely agree! the hair and makeup looks so generic that it doesn’t feel like a cohesive look. Also wtf is that rose clutch
I think she looks nice . Let’s just be thankful she’s not doing her silly tweeny poses . The clutch is hideous
I loved the simplicity of the gown and it’s color ….
and I loved the fact that she did kept it really simple coz she looked gorgeousssssssss and classy !!!
Love, love the fact that finally someone featured on this blog wore Stephane Rolland! Yay!. Its not just the hairdo… its the posing as well, she looks more nice than fierce….
