Banish the weekday blues coz’, we’ve lined up another Giveaway for you! Now you know we love you… Turns out, jewelry designer Shaheen Abbas wants to show y’all some love as well!

Of the earrings featured below that retail for Rs.6900 a pair, two very lucky winners could win themselves a pair each. And to win, simply tell us where you’d wear ’em first in the comments section.

Few things to keep in mind:

1. Contest is open only to Indian residents.
2. One entry per person only.
3. Please do not leave any personal details in the comments section except for a valid email address in the required field of the comment form.
4. Contest closes on the 20th of Apr, 2012.

  2. I would wear the pearl ones with a white cotton Sambalpuri saree that belongs to my mother for my PhD Convocation ceremony in a few months. A mix of old and new to start the next chapter of my academic life. Who says intellectualism has to come at the expense of good aesthetics?:)

They are perfect. one could wear them again and again and again AND again AND again ;) And why I am placing emphasis on AGAIN is because I really think, they can be worn for formal dinners or even for wedding festivities, they’d be chic dressed up with a pair of jeans and a simple T-shirt or denim button down.   92. The earrings are beautiful!
    I’d wear the white pair with a flowing light pink chiffon sari. I’d keep my neck bare and wear my hair in a loose bun to show off the pretty earrings. The attire would be perfect for a sangeet I plan to attend in the coming month.

    The second pair goes perfectly with a beautiful red and green anarkali that I plan to wear to my friend’s nikaah. Both the earrings have a very ‘mughal royalty’ feel to it. They will go well with Indian outfits. But if I had to experiment, I’d pair them with a jewel toned flowy top with little or no embellishments and a pair of dark slim fitting jeans. That way they can be worn with western outfits too.

I would wear it either ways, meaning when going out for a brunch with my friends with an ensemble of a monotone jumpsuit just to make the earrings stand out yet would not wash out the ethnic touch in it by overaaccessorizing it. Just a dash of peach blushers and a pastel wedges would complete my look.
    Another way I would carry this earrings is perhaps with an anarkali with delicate motiffs for an occassion like a r for my friend’s eception.
