In Sabyasachi

At Sabyasachi’s 20th Anniversary event, Isha was photographed in a ruffle sari by the designer. With a Sabyasachi belt cinching in the waist, she rounded out the look with diamond and emerald earrings. After seeing Ms. Ambani in heavy-duty Indian-wear recently, this sure makes for a welcome change of pace. She looked nice.

  1. Even half-decent stuff looks basic on these bollygarchs. Those giant earrings ruin it for me. They are like archaeological remnants of a recent event with a lot of razzle-dazzle and celebs.

      • I didn’t call her a Bollywood star, madam. I called her a bollygarch (an indigenization of the word oligarch) which is a term from James Crabtree’s bestseller book called ‘The Billionaire Raj’ and perfectly suits her. Do read up on the term. I also know of her resume but yet their lot can’t help but be so fascinated with Bollywood celeb culture.

  3. Marriage suits her. She has been looking very nice in her post wedding appearances. There is a lovely softness to her face in the pictures.

  4. She looks okay, I like that she’s kept her own style i.e. non chipku baal. Going off at a tangent where are the bolly A listers? Where’s Vidya, Rani, Madhuri or Ash? It’s a pity that in an event held in Mumbai he mainly got newbies. I understand he wants to reach out to a new client base but some of these kids haven’t achieved anything yet.
