When it comes to Indian-wear, Rohit Bal certainly seems to be Ms. Birla’s go-to designer. We thought she looked good and wore her outfit rather well. Yes, it is velvet. And yes, we just said we like. Payal however wishes the velvet kurta was paired with churidaars instead to downplay the velvet. Me? I like it as is. Makes for a change and she sure pulls it off.

according to me, she certainly doesnot pull it off. it looks like she forgot to put on her saree over her peticot. she wouldve looked much better with a chudidaar.
so agree on the petticoat bit.
except the shoes.
Churidaar would have been a better choice.

I agree, a churidar would’ve been much better. Also what’s with those shoes??
i like the outfit as is and she does make it work. And most importantly its a nice change in silhouettes we see here typically.

Churidars are so so over used and would diminish the uniqueness of the outfit so she made the right choice.
