In Ritu Beri

I knew I had seen this jacket on Ms. Gujral before and only today it hit me that she was wearing a Ritu Beri. It comes from Ritu’s A/W 2010 collection that paid tribute to the Indian Army consisting of a lot military style jackets (some very Balmain-esue) and camouflage print coats.
Ms. Gujral though keeps it simple by wearing the jacket with an LBD and some tall suede boots. Lets just say it’s Feroze who makes the jacket look better than the other way around.

Umm, I am going to have to disagree. She’s pretty, but the jacket is awful – too colorful and loud! Maybe if the jacket was shorter it would have helped – actually I don’t think anything could have helped that loud jacket!!!
I thought that the Bacchans’ had patented the use of velvet in their clothes until I saw this one. But seriously, Feroze makes this outfit work!

That is the silliest, most ageist thing I have ever heard. She’s around the same age as Cameron Diaz or Jennifer Aniston- mid-forties. Are you going to tell both of them off the next time they wear *gasp* above-the-knee clothes as well?
