In Falguni and Shane Peacock

For Huma, it was an icy blue Falguni and Shane Peacock gown, one that she wore with her hair side-swept. The early afternoon sun-light didn’t quite showcase her makeup but that wasn’t what bothered me. It was the feathers at the sleeves that did. Also, anyone else reminded of this Ziad Nakad gown after looking at this?

So their only addition was to make the cleavage & sleeves look as unflattering as possible?
This gown is different enough from Ziad Nakad’s to not call it a copy cat. The few differences….. the embroidery, the bodice, neckline, and most importantly, a far less bling ‘factor’ on Falguni Shane’s. The sleeves, especially the feathers is such a Falguni Shane signature and elevates the gown actually. By the way…Huma looks gorgeous.

She looks beautiful, the hair and makeup look great. But those sleeves are goofy – remove the weird poufy parts and we have a total winner.
Taking a moment to appreciate how Huma is radiating glow without a crazy highlight to the universe going on! She almost looks beatific.
Many a peeps would have gone the dark lips route but I’m so glad she kept it simple.
