Hrithik Roshan alongwith dad Rakesh and costar Barbara attended the premiere of ‘Bright Star’ on day three of the Cannes 2009 Festival. Earlier in the day, the stars posed for pictures at the photocall of their movie ‘Kites’.
As much as I love Hrithik, I do not like his scruffy look on the red carpet. It was okay for the earlier event, but I so wished he had cleaned up for the premiere.

i must say raakesh roshan looks quite suave in the bandhgala…and hritik has done better..and Barbara..hmm, lets just say i doubt that she is going to be next numero uno leading lady of bollywood

LOL – Barbara is wearing one fugly outfit at the photocall – gold foil dress and ugly shoes. And Hrithik needs to stop wearing that scarf. He looks too wannabe hip.
Papa Roshan looks the best on the red carpet. Barbara looks blah and Hrithik needs to trim the hair and beard.
I guess … barbara’s dress is a roberto cavalli … its very similar to the dress genelia wore at 2009 filmfare awards
why does hrithik have his hands in his pockets in both photographs? he just ends up looking like either (A) he’s a teenager who still hasnt figured out what to do with his arms or (B) he has serious issues with being normal around his co-star and touching/holding/being with her….
oh, it’s these times that i miss the utter cool confidence & charm that SRK always brings to his red-carpet photographs (like the golden globe thingie this past February)
I am glad Hrithik is not affected by the rumors surrounding him and Barbara and doing his job.

Oh Hrithik…what happened to the dignified hotness that was Akbar in Jodha Akbar?! The orange tan, the scruffy beard, the Gilderoy Lockhart curls…ah the horror. As for Barbara, she fares sliiiiightly better in the tan department but are those espadrilles?? On a red (or stripy red and green) carpet?! So many fashion crimes. Tsk tsk.
Oh and for reference if there are any non-Harry Potter fans, Gilderoy Lockhart was this extremely vain pretty-man type of person in The Chamber of Secrets :)

barbara reminds me of a sad version of shania twain in the black dress. The bling looks fake and unnecessary, really, the black dress needs to be shortened a bit, the bag is plain tacky and good lord , the shoes are such an eyesore! I cannot even begin describing Hrithik, I am too busy pretending to run towards him with a shaving kit.

Hrithik has looked way way better in the past! I don’t know what’s up with the crazy hair and facial hair. He’s totally my favorite but he’s not dressing up to the par.

Both the dresses on Mori are so wrong~ what a pretty gal, who was her stylist?!!? the old school blingy necklace is so wrong. she looks like she is going to the prom!
Hrithik looks so disinterested and very uncomfortable with Barbara (what’s with the hands in the pocket all the time!). He seems very conscious of the rumors back home about him and Barbara…sad.
And I don’t think Barbara is super beautiful or super hot as she was reported to be…she looks horrendous in those outfits and I can’t believe my eyes on seeing her shoes int he first pic!

Meh…both kinda messed up their Photocall looks. I don’t mind the ruggedness on HR but yeah somehow in this particular red carpet event I feel he could have done without it. Also, I don’t like that weirdly shaped bow tie. Barbara’s dress looks good on her though….but yeah kinda boring.
Oh yeah why does HR’s skin tone look so strange…like his cheek area under his eyes look whiter than the rest of his face :S

HES one of the few bollywood men who can pull off both the clean shaven and scruffy looks with ease..i think he looks ruggedly handsome…but then again, this man could wear a potato sack and have a pineapple on his head and he’d still be hot..he’s just that good looking=)

Yeah, he looks nice and Italiaano ;) Of course Hrithik Roshan looks like the kind of guy who rehearses every gesture 10 times in front of the mirror before using it in public. It always looks very forced, though that doesn’t stop him from being extremely good looking.
Barbara Mori looks so average, I can’t believe they just some random Mexican actress and expect everyone to be delighted. agree with HHCfan..they should have just taken Kangana instead.

I think hritik looks good in the white suit. Both of her outfits are BAD and what is it with Hritik’s hand in the last photo, it hovering somewhere in mid air behind barbara’s waist. Hritik needs a good hair cut and he should stop highlighting his hair.

I think Hritik was exploring with Henna, he found a bowl with a bit of Hanna in it and he just rob it on some parts of his hair to see if it will make his hair blond (this is the only explanation I could came up with after looking at this hideious hair color on Hritik which is very poorly done, big chuncks on one side, roots showing on the other and a very copper redish ugly color)

Hrithik Roshan is such a handsome man. Sadly, here he looks like Eurotrash. I don’t mind the scruff, but his hair could have been tamed a bit. And the dyed hair really does not do justice to his amazing bone structure.
Barbara’s dress looks like a teenager’s opinion of what’s appropriate for the red carpet. I think she was going for a simple and elegant look, but the necklace is tacky, and the dress is made out of the satin from Hell.
