At a charity event held in Mumbai recently, Haseena was spotted wearing a hot pink silk sari. Aside from the jewelry, a matching bindi and box clutch finished out the look. It sure makes for a welcome, and refreshing change to see Ms. Jethmalani sport a woven sari. That said, do wish she had picked a different blouse; would’ve elevated the look a whole lot, lot more.

All I can see is that bindi – if I was with her in person I don’t think I’d be able to resist the urge to take it off and reposition it a smidge lower..It’s so distracting as it is..
Such a garish saree; even wrapping paper is more subtle. It’s not a welcome change really.

I find it funny that some women, being Indian and living in India all their lives (presumably) look so uncomfortable in sarees. I understand non-Indians not being able to carry it off gracefully (maybe it’s the gait or carriage or just the weight of the thing), but looking at Indians clomping around looking like wrapped beanpoles…
Nice to see haseena featured after a long time. I always think her a stylish and elegant lady but this shade of mithai pink is difficult for anyone to pull off, and is making her look drained. Looks like a raw mango saree to me.
Let’s start with “keep this saree locked away in a cupboard far far away from any pair of eyes” charity.
PS: Her face looks lovely though.
I’ve seen this Raw Mango sari, and it’s not garish as it appears in this picture. I think it may be the lights, but it’s actually a very pretty sari.
