It was an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari for Gauri while at a recent wedding. Whether the sari is to your personal taste or not, you’ve got agree she wore it well. Once again, the hair and make-up worked; Gauri looked nice!

What a tacky saree
By that, you mean when you wear a top or a dress, both of them are ‘out and not covered’. What a cheap comment to pull someone down!!!
Its a completely different thing when you are wearing western wear…nobody calls that cheap but when you are draping a saree and purposefully leave one boob out it just looks so tacky. Can’t believe I’m having to break it down for you like that…

My problem is more with the way it is worded. The same things can be said without making it sound crude, vulgar and rude!
The criticism on the dressing downright crosses the line when you look the way it was worded!
It could easily be worded as ‘don’t like that the drape is only on one boob’. Rather when someone says ‘out and not covered’ , the comment is far cheaper than the outfit itself!
Agree.. no need to get tacky with your comments! She looks absolutely fine! there is no rule to keep both boobs under cover… if she wishes to flaunt it, then its her right! like it or leave it…
By the same token if we find it tacky or vulgar we can call it out…right?
Keep your hair and make up, fire your stylist.
She looks fab , props for only wearing studs and going simple . Why dress up when u know u can’t top the Ambani ladies who’ll be dressed to the hilt .
As blingy and tacky the saree is, she is managing to look elegant. Am grateful she didn’t pile on the jewelry.
Her make up, hair and styling seems to have improved off late. Clothes may still seem a bit OTT but still better than before. She needs to stick to this team who brings out her natural beauty rather than those who turn her into one of those Jersey Shore characters.

I dont know when this woman will ditch these kind of hideous sarees. Even hideous seems to be understatement when I look into sarees like this, and that bikini top blouse!! What were they (ajsk) thinking before designing blouses like this!!
Nope Saree is not to my taste. I am yet to see one or even half a piece of AJSK clothing that I might like but it’s not happening. They design the tackiest of clothes!
But Gauri does look nice despite it.

This saree is not something that I will voluntarily wear, but Gauri Khan is the only who is not participating in a “jewellery showcase/ competition” in all the Ambani wedding events. That is refreshing!
Gauri Khan has an air of glam that few in bollywood have matched. I saw the video of her getting out of her car and posing for these pics. I actually hate the saree and would never look at it twice in a store…but I am wonderstruck with how she manages to make this tacky saree look so polished, her hair is just perfect, her make up subtle and onpoint (the time she turned to face the media was right out of the movies) and just love love the fact that she kept the bling minimal. I think she rocked the saree with her amazing figure, hair and make up. This gal’s got style!
Hair and makeup are terrific. The bikini top blouse, the sari and the way it is worn… HORRIFYING.
