Little did we know when we first featured Freida (see here) that this young model was going to take all the red carpets by storm. OK, so we kind of had predicted it but who knew it would come true!
Coming back to the topic, turns out that the dress Ms. Pinto wore for her very first major public appearance was a Chanel and was recently seen on Nina Lucas (sister of Isabel Lucas) at the Chanel Haute Couture show. I loved it then on her and still do. Wonder if George was her stylist back then too?

Why is Freida’s dress crushed?Ms.Lucas is carrying hers with elan and hers is not crushed at all.

Most likely from sitting too long. Nina’s standing pic is from the arrivals which is why it isn’t crushed yet… I couldn’t find an after-show pic of Nina.
Even when nina is seated, the dress is not wrinkled. Despite the fact that Freida looks way better considering the make up (Nina’s too caky), the non ironed dress is a turn off
Aww, such a cute dress. I just love this colour . I think Nina carries is a tad better than Freida.
Frieda has hired an international stylist to help her be a prt of the ‘in’ crowd globally. Her clothes don’t reflect her personal style.

I wouldn’t buy the dress even if it had been discounted to $50, but Frieda looks so pretty.
I like frieda and think she is awesome for being where she is now.
But I must say that this particular dress is being carried off much better by nina luca. And those enviable legs dont hurt either.
Prefer Nina’s shoe to Freida’s round toe. A bit boring.

I was thinking the same thing that Frieda’s dress is full of creases unlike Luca’s. If the dress gets creases by just sitting and the cloth is not wrinkle free, I dont like the dress at all.
Freida’s stylist was paid for by Fox Searchlight, which didn’t buy the movie until AFTER this appearance. So some of her very first appearances (like that cute blue animal print maxi dress) she dressed herself.
I can’t believe I know that, lol.

Agreed. It looks frumpy on Freida and nice on Nina.
I don’t think Freida carries this well at all. She has somewhat of a “too eager to please” look about her.

I actually like the creases on the dress – it gives a crushed, crumpled, messy look. But yes Nina wears the strap better.
I love the entire look of Nina’s sister, she looks divine.
The girl next to Nina is Isabel Lucas – she’s an Australian actress who’s also in the new Transformers flick.
Hmm, don’t like it much on Freida, dull make-up and creased dress. On the other hand, Nina looks great-love the red lips<3, the other gal beside her looks cute too, that black dress is lovely tho!
