In Nikhil Thampi

It was another Nikhil Thampi for Ms. Sharma, this time at the GQ Awards.

While am strictly okay with the front of the ombré gown, it is the back that I can’t get fully on board with. No better event than the GQ Awards to dial the sexy up, but this risqué gown (?) seems of rather questionable taste.

      • hahaha… hence ur not evelyn sharma….so orthodox and cliched ur think is …this is bloody brilliant, a gown with a twist… the sweet girl frm the front and rocker chic from the back. this is fashion forward …it would have been so borin seen to death if this was fully covered. i give this a thumbs up…one needs vision and the guts to wear this and eveyln u NAILED it.

  1. The front pics are sheer perfection. The back of the gown is terrible…why oh why would you massacre a perfectly nice gown like that?! But credit to her that she still manages to look pretty darn good!

And even this female with an otherwsie awesome figure cannot pull off backside showing in leggings. Then i think almost no one else can.

  3. Ummm can I see through the front of her dress? I like the back it’s interesting but she totally wore pants two sizes small and ripped em while putting em on- unnecessary.

  4. My first expression was a good laugh :) I actually like the surprise and the gown. It needs to be perfect although … U can’t have anything like a rip off

  5. i agree that her behind is of the gew who can dare to take this risk. but all risks don’t pass. and sadly, this is just stupid.

it looks like she is constantly standing behind a bar or a curtain.

  6. hahaha now this is fun. i just randomly saw this online n cldnt resist but comment…loving the fact how this garment has left an unpleasant taste in everyones mouth… to the ones who liked it…thank you so much for those kind words….and those who hated it I LOVE THEM THE MOST.

p.s perfumeice : kinda note this garment is the no rip off of ne international brand plus this garment is 1 year 4 months old this is from my very 1st collection so that i showcased so the accusation is whimpish.

any how we wanted to make a dramatic appearance and we surely did.
thank u high heel and the ppl who took time out to comment.

    • Hi Nikhil, Its very cool of you to leave a comment here and stand up for your creation. The front of the gown is very pretty. I’m not quite taken with the back but it sure is unusual and provocative. So I guess that proves your point.
Now if only the gown came with that body I’d be the first one to buy it :)

    • She is so gorgeous. I liked the gown. The back is rather bold but she carries it well.

I am surprised to see some unusual comments on this outfit. We have seen some bold back appearances by Deepika, Sophia and many others….

  7. I think all of us have it wrong. What we have here is not a dress, it’s apron couture!
Or a mullet dress, business in the front party in the back.
I love when you can think of more than one funny thing to say about a ridiculously silly dress.

  8. I like the gown. I would wear it. I think it’s pretty cool and I’m suddenly liking her more for having some guts. Hope she goes the Megan Fox route for the rest of her career (daring, in your face) otherwise she will get lost in the shadow of Dia Mirza a star who never really rose either!

  9. Ummm OK the back of this “gown” got a lot of attention. But did anyone notice the disaster happening in the front (2nd pic)? I can see her n***** showing! Jeez! I’m sure the Thampi guy will say that was the intention too. :D

  10. the back would have looked better if she had worn correct size atleast, and even more better had the pant been an ombre say bron & black comination one.

  11. Did someone call this rocker chic? All I see is a squashed butt! Methinks the rest of this oh-so-pretty gown got caught in the car door as she was alighting…so she does get a sympathy vote from me!

  12. Umm, this can’t be called a ‘gown’. Half of it doesn’t exist. Time to think of another name. No ‘tacktastic’ this time, P & P? :)
