In Raw Mango
At a recently held awards event, Dia was photographed in a Raw Mango suit. Wearing her hair in a wispy updo, she rounded out the look with an Amrapali necklace and pair of minimalist black sandals.
Nothing to fault here, Ms. Mirza looked lovely.

I don’t like the combination of the yellow kurta with the dark bronze pants. Such an eye sore.
Here comes the sun! too much yellow and shine, but Dia being Dia makes it work
Too much make up …. which she doesn’t need . And that is giving yogi / baba kinda vibes . Add to that her awkward posture…… not impressive
* That kurta
I like the color combination of the suit, but that’s about it! Not a fan of the belt or the hairstyle here.
Whey!! that looks like a gaudy bathrobe and shes drowning in it.. plus so caked up in make up its aging the lovely Dia…
:) finally someone is talking sense! HHC – u outta mind to say she looks lovely? she looks like some newbie yucky yellow
belt karate wannabe aunty!
Only because it is Dia, this look seems nice. The top is too boxy and not a fan of that hairdo.
Tweety alert!
She is blessed with flawless skin…doesn’t need so much of much!
*makeup
I love Raw Mango and can’t believe how badly that Kurta hangs. The knotted part is too clumsy and seems like an afterthought.
Very Jogan vibes but Dia being Dia she has managed to look good here.
I don’t think Dia suits with a lot of makeup
She looks good in her own skin and being simple
She looks kinda old here
My last 3-4 comments have been censored out, so if this one suffers the same fate, I shall just assume P&P have different standards for what they allow, since nothing I wrote was offensive – merely an introspection on our role, as appreciators of fashion, in the self-image issues that are suffered by various celebrities, and may indeed, have contributed to Sridevi’s own health issues.
Look at this thread and I can count more than one comment on whether Dia is looking old, or the look is ageing her. Why is that? This is a fashion blog, not a commentary on whether the celebs sighted are youthful (or other body comments) – isn’t it? Is looking old at odds with looking fashionable?
Hi Urvashi,
We have a comment policy listed in our Disclaimer page. Your previous comments included an outside link (which we do not allow) which in itself goes into speculation. We do not allow that. And for that reason, we cannot include it.
Thanks for replying, Payal. I understand now, why that comment was excluded, but there were a couple of others that also got chucked. No matter, nothing of huge import.
@ Urvashi – taking the liberty to address the “age comments” you pointed out. for a celebrity (male or female) that makes their livelihood off public scrutiny on the basis of their appearance – there is a certain pressure to look “with it” and live up to their own touted claims. just as a cricketer / tennis player living in the public limelight is called out when they are not in form, so it is for actors / actresses who are not known for any talent, other than the poorly defined beauty / glamour quotient they bring to the table
so if someone looks at an actor and says they arent looking upto the hype (created by the celeb and their PR machinery) – i dont see anything to critique. its part and parcel of being in show biz.
Just my two cents
I do want to like this loOk but I can’t bring myself to say I love it. Perhaps it’s the way the top hangs and I didn’t instantly take to the necklace either.
Looks lovely, except, the makeup is ghastly, the hairstyle is disastrous and the yellow kurta abysmal! But otherwise nothing to fault and yeah she looks lovely!
