    • Yup!!! Duppatta’s are mostly worn for formal events like weddings / sangeets etc… for daily wear to office / college etc, dupattas can safely be eschewed as long as you follow the foll. 3 rules

      1. No deep necklines
      2. Kurta should be of thick material (not see-through)
      3. The Kurta should be slightly loose, not skin fitting / too tight

      Hope this helps!

  1. I love this female and her sense of style.
Wish she would surprise us a little tho…give us some edgy looks and bling ..that would be awesome!

  2. In the bollywood word of bling-infested saris, loud garish salwar suits and kundan jewellery overload, I thank Dia Mirza for being a breathe of fresh air and reminding us that desis can do minimal chic too.

It’s so easy to forget, but we do have our timelessly elegant classics as well: kanjeevaram silk saris in jewel tones, white chikan kurtas, floral chiffon saris with a string of pearls, all of which are eternally, effortlessy stylish.
