After the premiere, Ms. Padukone slipped into an Ashish sequin mini for the after-party. Unfortunately, since we don’t have better pics, it was a bit hard to evaluate if we liked this one on her. Having said that though, I prefer an outfit that either focuses on the top or the legs. Not both.
The dress by itself looked like she was stepping on set to perform a dance number…

Only when its worn with the right attitude! She looks very uncomfortable(in these pics atleast) like a 16 year old attending her debutante ball wearing a sexy dress which her mom forced her to wear.. God, where is her spunk with which she looked during her Cocktail/Anaita days?!
That could also be because of the context of the picture: looks like she is walking in a crowd of people staring at her..

It’s not a red carpet event so I don’t see the need for her to be confident. She is just getting into a party and wearing a very party appropriate outfit. That’s exactly why I said P&P might not approve of the outfit from a fashion point of view but she looks phenomenal for setting the temperatures soaring. It’s like 10 people might not like the design of my outfit but I look hot nonetheless ?

I have a similar dress in black, same length n all. It looks smashing and so does Deepika! Come on PnP, that’s a great dress for an after party.

Don’t mean to be a prude but both the gold dress and now this seem a bit too… ermm.. out there.. such an uncomfortable feeling when you’re surrounded by so many men pretty much oggling at your exposed body parts.
men should seriously stop ogling. I usually wear clothes which are nowhere close to what deepika is wearing but i still feel uncomfortable because of all the staring. Can’t do much about it

Personally, I would have preferred the full sleeve version of the dress, but Deepika manages to carry this off, because she is Deepika.

She looks great and she certainly isn’t uncomfortable. Someone even took a video of her and her friends shaking their booties and it’s been made into a gif somewhere on the net. I’m sure she would not have done that if she was uncomfortable.

Umm the dress just looks odd on deepika.. maybe coz we have seen her do a lot of better hot choices.. plus her recent fashion choices are not up to the mark which in itself is why I consider this one to be another ‘quite not’ .. you can do so much better! no denying she is raising the temperature…but.common it looks like an item no outfit
