Wearing an embellished Hemant & Nandita sweatshirt with distressed boyfriend jeans, Deepika attended a press meet in the capital. She finished out the look with her trusty mirrored pumps, which in this case complemented the clothes perfectly.
Wearing super distressed denims for a press meet doesn’t seem very kosher but given how goood she looked, the transgression begs to be forgiven.

This is like my comfy stay-home outfit, minus the shoes. Why wear stuff like this to an actual event?
Major snoozefest. Pretty face, yes. Fashion forward, no.
Pumps look ridiculous with this ensemble. I know she’s trying to dress up a super casual look but there are some things that just don’t belong together. Case in point. And the rolled up denim look bad. Don’t even get me started on that tattoo. It’s a case of the galloping uglies!
This is more of a street style look. The problem with being a bollywood celeb is, you dont get to hone your street style due to the mobs every where. She looks like she is trying way too hard for a look this casual. Otherwise I love her.

I disagree with the opinion that the pumps don’t go well with the casualness of the denim and sweatshirt. It adds a great twist, and a feminine vibe to the ensemble which could’ve have been snooze-y and predictable if she had worn sneakers. And she needs to look feminine with such a huge male-concentrated ensemble cast. Gold pumps add an oomph factor and only Deepika can carry this off :D

Someone above said she needs to look feminine for this movie’s promotion. I think that is exactly what is so wrong with this look. She looks boyish with that hairstyle and shirt. I can totally see Abhishek wearing that sweatshirt…lol.

i will love to see you just to see the face of ahte looks like. how does one live with so much dislike/hate? If it is your job it is understandable but otherwise to have so much vigor every single day you must be one hell of a person. If i could harbor such intensity of dislike for someone it would weigh me down.

LOL I feel like you share a personal animosity towards Deepika, I have never seen you once comment that you like something she wore. She’s a top actress with probably the best stylists in the industry but she can never get it right according to you.

That is not true. I liked some of her looks last year. I just don’t think she is bringing her A game this year in terms of styling. I’m allowed to have preferences.
