In Gauri and Nainika

Because of security reasons, Ms. Padukone skipped the red carpet last week and so we don’t really have many pictures of her in the red Gauri and Nainika. Having said that though, found a few online that we aren’t allowed to republish but you can reference. (See here and here.)
At first glance, I did love the look, but the more I look at it, I feel like the gown should’ve been more of column design for an even more impactful look. What say you?

The bottom bit should have been more structured. The bow, the gathers along with the hair is a bit much.
She has to be the consistently worst dressed A-lister. That hair and dress are a travesty.
And her fans go gaga over her worst dressing everytime.
She looks like she’s stepped out from Baywatch. Not necessarily in a bad way.
It gives me a hard time to understand why celebrities go for this hairdo? I purely feel that it ruins the entire look. Having said that i do agree with P&P.

The competing design elements and bad tailoring makes this a bad look.

poorly designed dress made worse with bad stitching and bad makeup!! DP – pls have a serious conversation with your stylist – she aint doing you any favours!!
Its way too much of a design – the red color, the giant bow, the mermaid bottom – I wish she went for the less is more route. This looks more dated than high fashion. Does she look good? Of course, she does – that’s because she is incapable of looking bad :)
Too many things happening in a single outfit – the bow, the flounce, the flare.
