In Falguni and Shane Peacock

Deepika attended the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards on Sunday evening wearing a custom made gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock. Sure the gown with its exaggerated sleeves and plunging neckline was striking but did the makeup complement the look. We didn’t think so. It just felt too heavy.

Also, we do’t know about you, but we really could use a sighting of Ms. Padukone in a non-sleek updo.

    • Well it’s their blog so they can’t shut up really… Also, they make take you seriously if you work on your punctuation and sentence structure.
“Why don’t you shut up? (Or ! If you’re trying dramatic) Seriously! She is looking fantastic. ”
It’s hard to read something that looks like your pet ran over your keyboard.

      • Shaleena Nathani is her stylist. I have a feeling Shaleena puts Deepika in whatever she would wear herself without taking into account Deepika’s sense of style which is more relaxed( i am guessing by her interviews). It always the sexy edgy kind of styling. I wish Shaleena would just put Deepika in a nice gown with no bells and whistles and let Deepika’s innate sexiness shine through it. Anaita gave that hot sexy siren outfit and looks to Deepika but those looked much more effortless. Shaleena., please put her in a simple gown with simple hair!

  1. I feel that Deepika has these phases with make-up and hairstyles. For 2013-2014 it was poofy ponytails everywhere, 2015 was all about thick painted eyebrows and heavy bronzer and the latest is this sleek bun.

  2. There’s a disconnect between the hair and the dress. The dress needed a fun hairdo and makeup. Rare disappointment from Deepika.

  3. The makeup, hair & dress are all from different looks. They don’t belong together at all. I think s messy bun with nude makeup would have looked nice. Even sleek straight hair left long & loose with muse makeup would look good.

  4. Sonam and her have totally overdone the plunging neckline. The dress is gorgeous minus that and sits on her well.
But that hair… it’s greasy and tiresome. Between the chest and the hair i really didnt notice the makeup

  5. Please blame the stylist …Deepika’s personal fashion sense is zero. She will wear whatever is given to her . She was better off with Anita , Shaleena gave her some good looks but mostly it has been a down hill.. miss after miss just painting her brows and edgy poofy clothes . Time to change stylist Deepika.

  6. No comments on how she looks but with the design.this is some similar to Stephanie Rolland’s dress worn by Celine Dion last year. And Deepika would look great in a variety of options, which I’m sure will be available. Why not a B’loni Atelier or Anvila saree?

  7. A white gown in itself is impactful, the ballon sleeves – quite pointless….they make her look broader.. plain fitted long sleeves and she would have looked perfect. The greasy face is most likely a result of a rundown from her greasy hair…

  8. Deepika and shaleena must seriously be the best of friends.. only that could expain why deepika has still not fired shaleena and continues to wear these dowdy dresses and sleek hair to look edgy..

  9. It takes a certain Shaleena to make her look bad. If you can make her look bad with that styling then you should quit styling and do something else

  10. I look like this when I run the shower without realizing my eye makeup is still on! :D
Is this becoming a new fashion trend? ;)
