Deepika attended a blogger event for a brand that she represent on Wednesday doing blue on blue in an off-shoulder Cord top and Tome culottes.

Mercedes Salazar earrings and Louboutin pumps finished out her look. She looked hawt!

  1. The pants look a little off in the first two pictures. I know i am not making sense but she has this cute vibe even when she is looking hot

  2. Culottes are everywhere now, a little influenced by the hakama. The pumps and earrings nah, the culotte requires something softer and easy. That stiff top is all kinds of wrong, you have to forget skin and stick to the East’s oversized tops and layering.

Judging by a few other posts sleeves sprouting mid way is going to be a thing. Gawd help our eyes through it.

  3. NONONONONONONONO. Did the “designer” have extra fabric, so they constructed those atrocious sleeves as an afterthought? Would have been a simple and elegant look if not for those giant hankies hanging from her shoulders.

  4. Don’t like the creases on the cotton trousers
And I really don’t like these arms attached to blouses but bare on top thing that is going on no nowadays. Jacky has been sporting them albeit with not so much success.
Not sure how the ear rings connect either. Still it’s an ok look but that’s about all.

  5. Very unexpected choice of earrings, though extremely tasteful! She’s rocking the outfit head to toe!! Deepu….I missed you! :D

  6. good lord, she paid money for this? a different combo would have been great. Its like she is wearing a gunny bag: both for top and pants.

  7. Pic 2… Ooooooh THAT FACE was made to slay!!! I do picture this look falling flat on most (except for Aditi Rao Hydari because she has that height and similar sculpted features); On DP too it looks exquisite! That combination of blue on blue looks very pretty. Not feeling for the pants much though as they are overwhelming even on a leggy lass like Deepika.

I know this is mean but i wish this hollywood stint would flop so that she remains in hindi film industry and we get to see her more.

  8. Sorry do not like the look at all..She looks like those 80s heroines with an over the top costume and large ear-rings..Sorry not my cup of tea

  9. What is going on with those sleeves? (And did you not criticise similar sleeves on Jacqui sometime back?)

Honestly her face is the saving grace. The outfit is pretty tacky.

  10. Except her face which is the saving grace, nothing works. If a tall, slender lass like her cannot work this atrocity no one probably can. The culottes look bad in the first 2 pics. The sleeves in the walking motion looks like she doesnt have any hands. It looks okay only in the last pic where the angle helps.

  11. This look has “inspired by Sonam Kapoor” written all over it. I thought it was her for a hot second or two! With that being said, DP looks really good in it. There is a new pep in her step since coming back from the US. Interesting

    • I agree. This is soo much like SK style. I can vision sonam carrying this look so well. But on DP it just doesnt give that vibe.

  12. Neck up she looks gorgeous – well, when does she not!! That outfit is a mess. Not working with all the extra fabric.

  13. Love those exaggerated sleeves on Deepika! I have been wanting to wear tops like that but don’t have the body to pull them off…She looks stunning! Don’t care for the shoes but otherwise its a great summer look and Oh that face! Love!

  14. Hate the sleeves. An absolute no no. I also feel the fabric lent itself to a more relaxed vibe rather than being all dressed up. But Deepika is just gorgeous. Love her!

  15. Very interesting look from Deepika, who certainly has the face and figure to pull this off. I love it!

The emerald earrings make the look in my book. :)

  16. Deepika’s face is gorgeous. However, the entire look is a major no no, in my opinion. She probably got paid mucho INRs for that mess she is wearing. Those “hankies” (haha!) are meant to cover up unsightly biceps.

  17. Hawt!!? Really? Like many ppl have said , her face is the only saving grace .. Those culottes are creased and don’t even get me started on that top.. That too in the last pic it instantly reminded me of the dragon that Harry was supposed to slay during the Triwizard tournament ! :P

  18. Messy. Except the blue tones and earrings it’s a mess. Gorgeous face cannot save or excuse a bad outfit and this is a bad outfit.

  19. Wth?! I saw an interview she gave Miss Malini in this outfit plus glasses! I wish I hadn’t. Those sleeves are not even attached to the top. What was she thinking? Wannabe Jasmine? Those earrings don’t go with the outfit and with glasses on, she just looked so costumey and odd… those pants are so creased… so much wrong here. Deepika you really don’t have to try so hard!

  20. Love it completely! This looks like a super glam summer look. With her bone structure, she can get away with just about anything.
And there’s nothing ‘Sonam’ about this…

  21. This look is all about that face. Nothing to like here. All I see is a whole lot of fabric, unutilised and awkardly placed. Seriously, nothing to write home about except that gorgeous face.

  22. It’s an exceptionally bad outfit…The pants are engulfing her and she is like seriously tall…but that face makes it passable.

  23. Love deepika, but hate this look- it screams trying too hard and she usually looks effortless. The proportions are crazy- everything is over the top.

  24. I just adore this look!!! Everything comes together in such a interesting n street sort of way. The earrings were the perfect addition – very italian. Cant think of a better comeback outfit
