In Anamika Khanna

Comment image 13

Deepika spent Diwali on Thursday evening wearing a cream sari by Anamika Khanna with jewellery by Farah Khan Fine Jewellery. After her appearance in the Raw Mango this week, it was not going to be easy to top that festive look. And we have to say this one didn’t. The organza sari didn’t quite drape right but my bigger issue was with the hair.

Did you like her here? Wish she’d switched the two looks out.

  1. The drape seemed fine in the insta pics. I did not like the blouse but I do love the saree. Her hair were too tightly pulled back though.

I think the drape got messed up while on her way to the party in the car or something, cause the material of saree is quite tricky.

  2. I feel Deepikaa Should try some plain sarees.. like Radhika Apte.. She will look Great in those:) rather than these filmy and dreamy ones. The Red Raw Mango was Awesome on her with Tanishq Jewellery..

  3. I think she looks like a dream
The drape isn’t perfect but it’s a tricky material
Yes the red Sari was amazing but this is beautiful in its own right
After a bunch of silly Anamika Khanna outfits this one feels miles better

  4. Aft the green goblin suit, this is really a palate cleanser. Minor issues with the flat hair and ugly earrings but I can live with that. This look saved anamika Khanna from a horrendous diwali showing

  5. O no, most beautiful shouldn’t have picked that saree and blouse. Organza is better used as a press cloth or underpinnings. Such a tricky fabric, only a master couturiere can tame the drape or create volume.
