In Mayyur Girotra

For the taping of Li’L Masters on Sunday, Chitrangda was spotted wearing a vibrant brocade anarkali by Mayyur Girotra. Considering she wore the traditional jhumkis, didn’t think the contemporary bracelet was needed here. But that’s just a minor gripe considering you can hardly spot the jewellery with how bright the anarkali is.

What did you think?

  1. The difference between the traditional elegant colours and patterns of traditional handloom fabrics and the garish mil-made copies is amply clear here. After seeing what the likes of Raw Mango and Payal Khandwala do, this is quite a travesty. No good, not the fabric, not the outfit, not the styling.

  2. This is how my aunts recycle their old benarsi sarees, turn them into anarkali or lehanga choli.
    nothing designer about this.
This looks bearable only coz it’s Chitrangda Singh wearing it!!

  3. Not even the lovely Chitrangada can save this gaudy mess of a dress. As Lola pointed out, it looks like a cheap mill print versus a handloom weave.
