At the launch of her collection in Harvey Nichols, designer Ayesha Depala wore a lace maxi dress and leggings from her own label. A Marni belt cinched in the dress at the waist perfectly and Manolos completed the look. We like.

    • That’s coz Ayesha Depala clothes are similar to Elie Saab’s…as in they both go for the ultra feminine, soft, classic styles.

But no doubt, Ayesha Depala is one gorgeous woman who effortlessluy sticks to her signature style & mkes it look so good!!

  1. It’s a weird outfit – neither a tunic nor a proper dress ‘cos of the tights. The colour and the lace is nice though. She’s got an amazing body but the dress doesn’t cut it for me.

  2. she looks gorgeous..its a bit unusual dress but she makes it work unlike most of the Indian designers who end up looking like they have no place in the fashion industry themselves.. for ensembles that include leggings, for me the real test is how the dress looks from behind..considering she is so lean..i guess she can carry it off..
and what is the bracelet thingy she is wearing.?? looks pretty interesting..

  3. One of those rare occassions when lace dress works with leggings. Ms. Depala makes it work. I cannot think of any other actress in the block who can make it work based on recent memory. Has anyone ever? I guess that is a question for PnP.

  4. Ayesha Depala’s dresses are fantastic in this collection. This black one is really splendid with the shapes which let us see some of her skin. But the belt is not completed the look, I think the blue is not the colour that should have been added to the dress, but it’s my own taste ;)

  5. hahahaha Marc Jacobs in his Lace dress at the Met Gala comes to mind immediatly. Very unflattering look here. Here Scarlett really did make a dress out of cheap lace drapes.
