At an awards event held last evening, Ashwiny was photographed in Vrisa. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a bindi, red lip, silver jewelry and a pair of ten wedges. We love Vrisa and any sighting of the brand makes us very happy! And besides, Ms. Tiwari looked rather nice.

First, oh-my-God-moment.
First fashion blog featured person I had to actually google for.
Now that i have, and I see that she is a film maker and not a real “in front of the camera” celebrity type, my expectation has been sized down. She has a warm, comfortable and pretty earthy style. I actually like it.
I will add however, in case she is reading, that all reds are not equal! Mix and play with extreme caution. Often ends badly. Don’t go for local matching and global patching.
Tomato red on the feet (and high heel kolhapuris) does not mix well with berry red on lips and bindi.
I love her sense of style. But this look is a little too casual. I like her shoes though.
I think she’s looking lovely, warm and down to earth.
Seems too casual for an awards night
I checked out the Vrisa store in Delhi but they weren’t selling anything like this. All pale colors and washed out fabrics.
Is this is a dress or a kurta. It’s long and I can’t figure out if she’s wearing churidars/leggings, hence the query.
I am a big fan of Ashwini. Loved the tamil version of Neil batte Sannata ( Amma kanakku), also loved her column here on HHC. For her height and build, these long kurtas, where you cannot see the churidhar below don’t help at all, makes her look stocky ! I am not sure if this is a maxi or kurta.
Also hairtsyle is too severe, something soft would be nicer.
