For the Raipur leg of PK promotions Anushka did desi in a white Rohit Bal anarkali with earrings by Divya Chugh.
While she looked lovely, the white and gold look gave us a sense of déjà vu. Did you feel it too?

Why is that? She looks lovely. On a side note, I think Aamir Khan(isn’t that him in the picture?) desperately needs a style intervention. Will he never stop wearing these tight muscular tees as if he’s 20? Get out of the Ghajini days already.
Would you have a problem if Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt wore one of those? (Serious question, not being bitchy) I guess I see it as no different from women who work their ass off at the gym and want to show off the results of their hard work..I saw some Anita Raaj pictures recently and no one has ever seen me drop a donut that fast.
Though I do believe in case of overly bulked up Indian men, steroids play a large part..Apologies again, I know this isn’t fashion centric.
The sleeves remind me of my tween days when I used to wear ill-fitted churidars over my lanky stick legs. eeek.

Hahaha! You are right. My ill-fitted clothes still haunt me. Got a little carried away…and I forgot to mention how lovely she does look indeed. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
Speaking of PTSD, that pattern on the chest area with the strings and all brings back dark memories of sonic cacophony.

Love this! Minor gripe but definitely would prefer smaller/simpler earrings since the top is embroidery heavy, maybe small jhumkis or chand bali’s.
