  1. She looks lovely in that color. I never really knew Banarasi sarees could be see through. I thought they were mainly Chanderis.
    That color is sooo amazing.

  4. A true fashionista doesn’t need to rely on designer brands to showcase her style – case and point this look right here! Love it and would like to see more celebs following this trend!

  5. Loved how she opted for light makeup with rich coloured saree. Many go for dark/loud makeup with such sarees which can appear as garnish but Anushka always keep the makeup subtle. At her own wedding too her styling was on-point!

  6. Indian handlooms are the best. They looks classy and elegant. If it was a designer outfit , the designer ( *cough cough* Sabyasachi ) would have added a totally mismatched border and charged an arm and a leg for the same artisan made handloom saree.

  7. I love the saree and that she’s wearing a traditional weave and not a “designer” version of it, which as Krithi above me said, would have added a mismatched element.
BUT….the blouse. She needs a better fit and maybe even a better color or with some element to not make this so matchy-matchy.
More important – a softer bun would have looked amazing

  8. This is for sure a chanderi saree… ( I have some in same design )The artists call it bana silk( the costliest silk they use). The design looks more benarasi inspired.
