Green with envy, we so are, at the growing collection of Anu’s Birkins. And, might we add, love the new color!

  1. Not to miss Anu’s pose in all the pics. Looks like all she does is practice this pose everyday at home in front of the mirror with a different Birkin which she buys every weekend :)

  2. hmmmmm…well I have to say I envy Preity’s collection more, just because her Birkin’s are more interesting
but if I had to raid someon’es closet, it would definitely be Posh :)

  3. Same pose, expression, hairdo, pretty similar shirts on denims. Even the watch has the same big dial-leather strap. Damn! Talk about being consistent. :) The grey birkin is sooo yumm!

  4. Hot Damn! That is some serious money right there…. just these three bags plus the countless clutches she has probably buys a house and a couple of cars in india!!! did someone say recession?

  5. those bags look delicious. but it also leads me to wonder, this woman can obviously afford stuff, why wont’ she vary it up? even if she wants to own multiple birkins for the sake of owning multiple birkins, must they be the exact same, just in different colors? she could easily choose ostrich, croc, or even get a kelly.

or maybe she does, on top of all these birkins.

  6. i was just looking at other pictures from the samsaara event. i spotted at least 3 other women with birkins. now, whether i am sporting a birkin or a purse from old navy, i would hate to attend an event only to find another person there with the same thing. don’t get how these people do it.

  7. What’s the b**dy point of buying the same bag in so many colors – i mean birkin or not, its just a bag to carry your stuff in. I would be equally appalled if someone bought the same dress in every color…why should a bag be different? lol

  8. I don’t mean any disrespect to anyone, but why does anyone want a handbag that runs into the thousands of $$$$. I mean, what does it do that say a $250 handbag doesn’t? This bag looks so ordinary to me. I just don’t get it. Why is it that all the style on this site is associated with things that cost tons of money, more than 99% of the population can afford?

  9. This chick wears interesting patterns in shirts, and has the yummiest bags and shoes. but she’s pretty in a uninteresting way. makes sense? also, she has a set pose and expression ….

  10. Lol! I’ve noticed that in all three pictures her Birkins seem really empty (much more apparent in the last pic where the bag slumps at the top). Seriously, if I’m carrying a big bag like that , I’d want to stuff it with all kinda thingamajigs… the offered utility must be optimized. Or, maybe she’s just more organized than I am (*peeved*) .

  11. The bags look overdone now—is there a competition in Mumbai to see who has the most number of Birkins??? Funny, odd, strange but it must make sense to a certain kind of person.

  12. Luxury goods were about quality and timeless elegance along with practicality in olden days, which were personally made for certain rich people. After fashion took over, it hasn’t always been the same. These bags or the ridiculously expensive things featured here also raise my eyebrow but then the rest of the world goes on to make replicas or cheaper versions of them. Then some of us don’t understand why anyone would spend that amount of money on such things when you can buy that costs only one fifth or so. It is like selling the idea to the rest of the world. It is like us wearing something more affordable yet fashionable/trendy, which was on the runaway a season or two ago.

  13. I think this site primarily features anything associated with India and Indian, either the wearer or the designer or the inspiration drawn and so on. Maybe they don’t have time to find alternative cheaper versions; finding different posts and approving the comments already take up a lot of time.

  14. loll this woman is really lucky! love this color too! if i had that kind of money, i’d buy the bag in every color too! especially pink!!

  15. I agree Leena. Also, how boring to have the same bag in different colors! How about changing it up a bit? I think style is not about how to make expensive things look good, but how to take the ordinary and make them work.

  17. This bag has turned into a mere social status symbol instead of a fashion accessory. If you wanna let people know you’re rich…get a birkin

  18. I mean, if this were some other lady wearing that outift to the right…you would post her under ‘WTheyyy’, but since she’s caring a birkin it’s alright?

  19. CocoNUT,
Birkin or not, its not a look we think is a WTHeyyy. If that is all that mattered, would we have picked Madhoo and her match mutch outfit. After all, she had a Kelly in her hand!

    AA,
She is a Socialite and you can see more posts on her if you either click on related posts links or search for her.

  20. The herd mentality at play once again. Birkins are just status symbols and not worth the money. The design of this bag is boring.

  21. Nice collection but I would prefer Amisha’s orange, Preity’s green and Posh’s pink over these anyday. Whats the point of spending so much on such dull colors ;) Also I like smaller sized Birkin than these large ones.

  22. I don’t like her jeans with the heels in the pic on the right… her shirts are ok I don’t think her shirts with the jeans are wthey at all. These birkins aren’t that exotic.. would rather save two and get one really good one then jus spend on three mediocre ones (if it can ever be called mediocre!.. well compared to the Himalayan birkin..)

  23. lol this look might not be a wtheyy..but it’s SO boring…if the birkin is “real” LOL she could have easily spent the money on getting a variety of high-end accessories…all we see is the boring bogettas and birkins

  24. I like the birkin bag and the colors are great, but the size she is carrying is a travel bag, too big to be worn to an event. Some socialite carry these as a status symbol, you know that from the way they pose alway making sure the front is facing the camera.

  25. I think she is nouveau riche thats why she needs a birkin in every color. This is really silly. If this is fashion then the richest should be the most fashinable. Girl you are no grace kelly get some other bag next time pleaseeeeeeeeee.

  26. Strangely, She’s wearing same peep toes in different colors in all the 3 pictures up there! LOL
Seems, she took the “If you like it, Buy it in all colors” quote to seriously! :P Just saying
