Although the waist is different on Anu, this dress is indeed an Oscar De La Renta. Loving it on Anu or prefer it on Tyra?

I prefer it on Tyra. The waist detail is better. I love the color. It looks strange on Anu, maybe it’s just too long on her.
I was actually talking to her for a while after the show, so I got to see the dress up close. The embroidery isn’t that well done – surprising, given that it is an ODLR. Also, while I understand that this is a looser fit, it just doesn’t fit well on her – very billowy at the back.
just curious: Who is this couple and what do they do? are they film producers?

Love Anu’s version … its different … tyra’s is very common one …Anu carries it with a lot of grace too .
The waist detail def made a huge difference. Prefer it on Tyra better, although i lovee the colour of the dress!!

The color is soo pretty. The waist detail makes it look better. Nevertheless, both of the ladies look really cute.

on anu it hardly looks like a designer gown, on her it looks like something she got made from her local tailor, but tyra looks smashing and brings out the colour and the glamour in the dress

Anu’s simply dwarfed by the dress.. if I didn’t see the Tyra picture I would have thought the dress was awful but it’s obvious it can look better fitted and much better put together..
Sunny is HDIL managing director. HDIL is one of the big sponsors of Couture Week and Anu is his wife.. Both are regulars in the party circuit with lots of friends in the film fraternity.
If your short, sandals with ankle straps cut your height and make you look shorter. She should avoid that.
Naturally Tyra carries off that dress very well and the seam on the waist helps, but I have to say, they both look cute in their own way.
I don’t know why, but Anu’s version does not look like an authentic Oscar de la Renta…

The waist detail to the dress makes it a whole lot better. Ya is it just the pictures, the colour looks alot more brighter on Anu than it does on Tyra. Yes Tyra somehow makes it more classy and chic, maybe cause she has the height and Anu is just drowning in her dress

This Anu chica is disaster personafied. Who cares how much money she has, her style qoutient is zero. You just don’t get up and buy a designer dress just for the heck of it. Look at it….it looks sooo bad on her. She is so short for that dress and the fit is laughable. I swear these Indian page 3 goers will buy anything in the name of designer wear.
As much as I hate Tyra Banks and her “me, me , me” antics……this round goes to Tyra.
You’re welcome girls. I’m still wondering if it’s an original because oscar’s dresses are so amazing. The hemline is similar but Anu’s dress has no structure and is sort of glossy or she’s wearing a size to big for her. I’d have liked to see tyra’s version on her but maybe she felt it was too “frock-like” :)

The dress looks way better in the Tyra photoshoot than in real- life, but maybe because of the Photoshop magic wand? Her ankles are so unnaturally thinned down in the pic, and the dress has been dulled down too, to match the romantic palette of her surroundings- jai Photoshop!
I think i agree with eclat the Tyra pic has loads of photoshop help and tons of airbrushing.
I think Anu looks very sweet but I think this pic does not do her justice.
Also she is almost 5 feet nine inches tall… nowhere near short!

anu is defi a tall girl…. seen her several times….more like 5’8′ and the husband IS very tall!
KJo is 5′ 8”, people. Subtract Madam Anu’s heel ka inches. You get her height. WHICH IS NOT 5′ 8”. Ha.
